> 3 dayI got this to use as a photography prop and its a lovely addition to my collection. The little girls love modeling with it and the adult ladies enjoy using it as a prop to hold so they dont look or feel so self-conscious. Theres some comments about the little bit of fabric at the top but I dont find it too big of a deal. Ill upload one of the pics that Ive taken using it and you can see for yourself. Its very lovely for the price! Id get another one if needed.

> 3 dayCame quickly, intact & functional. However, Im still trying to peel all the clear dried glue off the outside...really wouldve been perfect if it wasnt for that. But its still pretty cute, & provides good shade, so yes, recommend!

> 3 dayVery cute, and wood mechanism is ingenious and unusual. I treat it gently though. Only problem is it does not seem to really block the sun out very well. Would not count on it to stop UV, but still nice looking.

> 3 dayThe umbrella was cute and goes well with the room decor, but i realize a black umbrella will go much better Im returning it to purchase a black one

> 3 dayI used the parasol to compliment my geisha girl costume. It worked perfectly. Too fragile for children. Order long before you want it. Mine took several weeks to arrive.

> 3 dayI am pleased with my purchase. I will be using it as a prop so I did not need the highest quality item. The umbrella is hand painted, which makes each one unique. I like the bamboo handle. The unnecessary fabric at the top is strange but I plan to get fabric glue and make it look a little more fancy then just the random square piece of fabric hanging on to the top. Overall I would say this is an excellent value for the price.

> 3 dayMy daughter is fascinated with Asian culture and Japan in particular, so getting her this umbrella was a no-brainer. It is sturdy but not that strong. It will be useless in rain, but for a sunny day for children playing is great. Would not recommend it for young children though. Although I cant see parts that might loosen up, its better to take no chances...not as bright as the one in the picture (we got the blue one)...

> 3 dayI have another Japanese parasol I got ages ago size 22. I always thought it wasn’t that great until I bought this one size 33. The difference in sizes is almost minimal. The craftsmanship on this one is subpar as the umbrella is a bit shorter on one side. The paint although dry is a bit sticky feeling and the paint job is just eh. There’s glue on the outside which is pretty noticeable and I’m trying to rub it off gently. There’s a faint odor and to me it smells like dog poop. I’m airing it out and hoping it goes away. If this wasn’t for a few cosplay pictures I would return it. If you want something cheap to use a few times this will be fine. If you want something for full time decoration purposes, this isn’t it.

> 3 dayOne of my potted porch ferns was getting a bit too much sun in the evening, so I gave it this umbrella sticking out like a mini umbrella in a drink cup. Looks and works great out in the weather all summer.

> 3 dayI bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It is true to the color shown and is about the size of a small adult umbrella. It is mainly a decor piece, but could be used for a bit of shade from the sun. The first time you open it, you must be careful as it is a bit cumbersome, but does come open with care and gets easier each time you do it.
