The biggest issue with this is the adhesive on the rubber feet fails easily, allowing them to come off. Otherwise it does what it is supposed to do.

A large piece of steel that is painted yellow, and a magnetic holder that attracts magnetic support arms that are used to hold electronic projects. The light should come with it, but you have to buy the light separately. It costs a lot, but it will help me. I can solder anywhere now!

Bought this as a gift for my dad who works on restoring old school arcade machines as a hobby, its huge and heavy and the magnets are extremely strong. Hes already used it multiple times for multiple different projects and it works great! The metal base is coated with a thick yellow epoxy-like paint that looks cool and seems very durable and the magnetic arms dont bind up like cheaper brands. Overall extremely happy and my dad is happy too.

I love this platform. Y use it as a base for mounting my camera an accesories to do macro photography. It works like a charm.

I got the jumbo version of the QuadHands flat plate. So far, in the short time that Ive had it, the station has proven to be very useful while soldering and tinkering on projects. The apparent weight of the plate can be deceptive as it just looks like a thin sheet of metal; however, it is a heavy piece of steel that is sturdy and wont budge at all. This goes the same with the arms, once you set them in the desirable position, theyll stay there! The powder coat is a really nice touch and i was scared when i had a bit of solder land on it, i was able to scrape it off easily with no damage to the finish. I do recommend that if you have the counter space and the need for a product like this then you should definitely go with the extra large version that is around 17 wide and 11 deep.
