K-Edge Gravity Cap Garmin Mount (Black)

Works like a charm.

This product works as advertised but the small bolts that attach the garmin mount to the aluminum body started to strip and now I can’t remove it to adjust the position. I had it installed fine but needed to loosen the mount to position it more center with the stem and while trying to loosen one of the small bolts (2mm), it started stripping. I only had it tightened to 3nm.

As many others are mentioning, you will lose your garmin if you use this product! The problem may just be the location on the bike. The plastic insert that holds the garmin is exactly the same as the one on my out front k-edge for my road bikes. Ive used k-edge mounts for many years on all my road bikes, this is the first time a k-edge mount would refuse to hold the garmin in place. This mount lost my edge 520 last week and Im a little depressed about it. I really really wanted to love this mount, It holds the garmin in an extremely nice place, it looked so good. If it held the garmin better, and I didnt lose mine, I would love this product as much as I love all my k-edge products! This product is extremely hard to get straight anyways. Once you use the cap to tighten your headset (thats what stem caps do!) the garmin mount will now be tweaked slightly. Its extremely difficult to get it straight and have a tight headset at the same time. Out front mounts for a mountain bike wont work because the garmin will get abused.

Bought one of these as a test for my Garmin 1000. It is so superior to the Garmin mount its hard to believe they are built on the same planet. Shame on Garmin for selling a $500 piece of equipment with a $0.02 mount.

The small screws that hold the plastic mount is not holding very well with small hex tool, it became rounded and I ended up breaking the plastic mount.

Love this thing! Holds the garmin securely and cleared up handle bar space. Made well.

Broke my first ride within minutes! Very weak

Works well. Its a great solution for mounting Garmin device. Problem is that it will break with a moderate external force and Garmin will fall off
