KAVU Rope Bag - Sling Pack for Hiking, Camping, and Commuting

Nice bag, but color faded in spots on first wash.

I love this bag so much. I used to carry a boho style hippie bag. It was a black hole and I couldnt find anything. I got my Kavu this morning and switched. Everything is so much more accessible now. I keep my wallet (Its a standard size wallet, not a long checkbook style and its not Kavu brand) in the front zippered pocket. My iPhone 5c also fits in the zippered pocket. Im extremely weary of velcro pockets so I only have EOS lipbalm in there for now. I also packed a Moleskine, two pencil cases, glasses case and my emergency medical kit in the large pocket. With all that inside my old purse it was heavy and uncomfortable. With my Kavu it was much more comfortable and easy to get to everything on my day out. I do like the small zippered pocket in the main pocket. Its perfect for a back up mini emergency kit. I put some bandaids, hair ties, and a few doses of my medication in there. The rope strap is great for clipping keys to as well. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is tired of heavy and comfortable black hole purses! (I got the rack and roll bright blue bag)

Well made and takes abuse like a champ! Accessing the zippered compartments is a bit difficult, but thats a definite positive to help ensure wandering fingers stay out! Only reason for 4 stars is the size... would like it a bit bigger, but just our opinion ;)

I bought this for the fabric, but the size was too big and too small at the same time. The overall height and width were too big, but the depth wasnt enough. This is a good product, just not the right fit my my needs.

I have been wanting a Kavu bag and when I saw this one on sale, I finally made the purchase. I was a bit concerned because the reviews say that the canvas tend to fade, especially the black. So far I am liking it. The two small pocket are a bit to small, especially the one with the velcro but is convenient to put my keys. My iPhone XS max did fit in the pocket with the zipper. Overall, it seems sturdy and lightweight and I like the way it hangs. I do tend to like crossbody bags more than any other bags.

This beats the old diaper bag any day of the week. I grab a diaper and a pack of wipes, still have another zipper pocket for my wallet and adult items and two outter pockets one Velcro I use for my keys and one zipper which fits my IPhone Max X perfectly so any smart phone in a case should have no problem fitting . I love that the strap is wide and unobstrusive , with a buckle so even if there isn’t a place to hang your purse you can loop it around and make sure it doesn’t hit the ground. I’m constantly surprised how much I love it and the price is very reasonable.

The bag actually holds way more than I expected. It’s very comfortable to wear and easy to maneuver while wearing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cross body bag!

I loved that this bag has 2 compartments. I used it all over while hiking in Arches national park and Yellowstone. The outside small pockets were too small for my phone but perfect for chapstick and sanitizer and keys. Would highly recommend!

I really like this a lot and had several comments on how lovely the bag looks like. I think its really convenient that it has all the pockets necessary. The only issue that I have since its a ROPE handle, its starting to fray and I have to cut it with scissors when they get too long and ugly looking. I would probably want something to bond the rope handle properly so that it becomes solid and more durable. Oh another suggestion, it would be nice if they have the rope handle going the other way since I carry it the opposite side and the front of the bag is on my back instead of the front. Overall, for the price and look of it, I think its very good. This is my daily work bag.
