I had already purchased a Kent R9T which is a full size wide tooth comb. I found I needed a shorter version of the same comb to keep at work in my desk. Everything I said about that comb applies to this Kent 12T. Perfectly polished. Absolutely no scratching or snagging other than that due to my beard hair itself. Theres just no comparison between this comb and the extruded machine-made combs commonly available these days with their mold marks and sharp teeth. Once I would never consider paying as much for a comb but I have found Kent to be worth every penny. Has the solidity and feel of a comb that will last for many years. Its everything I hoped it would be. I bought it to use as on my full beard and Im very pleased. Right size and great quality.

Usually I do not make time for reviews but this comb is worth it. Hopefully this helps those of you who are thinking about purchasing. When I first saw the package I thought, Oh no, its looks to wide, I may have to return this one. But after opening and using it, this comb is fantastic for beards. The width and teeth couldnt be better. I was initially thrown off because I own a Kent R7T and it is more narrow with both fine teeth and course. The R7T is good for shorter beards but mine is now heading towards the fourth month. The R7T was snagging hairs due to the longer beard length but worked great before that. The 146mm 12T is incredible. No snags and feels very comfortable. My beard actually looks better groomed now and I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Ive had my Kent FOT comb for about 4 years now. Its done an amazing job with my short beard, but I decided to go big beard status and the smooth as butter glide wasnt working out as well. I have a fairly thick and wavy beard. Today I got my Kent 12T and the first pass through my larger beard, since Im growing it, gave me that same smooth as butter pass through that I got with the FOT comb and a shorter beard. I absolutely love it and its simple things like this that urge me to keep growing. Kent combs are just different in all the best ways.

I like everything about this comb. It is my favorite. Its a little pricey, but hey, it should last forever, and its comfortable against your scalp. That makes it a bargain in my book.

I have used these combs for years in my purse. They have always been beautifully finished and proportioned, and the tines far enough apart they dont pull my hair. I have usually bought them in beauty supply stores, but they are very hard to find now, so I bought them from Amazon recently: That said, I ordered several for Christmas gifts and the quality was uneven. I know they are handmade (which I love) but some of the tines were a little sharper than my previous combs, etc. I think Kent needs to up the quality control a bit. That said, this price via Amazon is a GREAT VALUE and the combs are better than anything else on the market. Thank you.

I just wanted something nice. that would comb my hair well. I am not a hipster, I dont have a beard either. I just wanted a comb that would work for a middle aged white guys blonde (high folical count) hair. Whelp it works fine, no issue with it, and it didnt get sticky or gunked up if I use gel or something. So other than the price, its not bad.

I never thought I would love a comb so much. I bought 2 small ones to try...but ended up buying a few more just to have on hand. very well made, great quality, and pretty :-)
