I have used Ace combs for my entire life. I made the mistake recently of thinking it was a good idea to replace the (3) I have had for years. I tossed the old ones out then bought the replacements. The NEW version of the Ace combs is plastic (not hard rubber like the old version) and they hurt your scalp to use them. They dig in and hurt. I was very disappointed. I tossed them out and researched other combs. These Kent combs cost more than the Ace versions but they are great. Its sad when an old stand-by favorite such as Ace has dropped its standards so far after all these years. One more old classic that has fallen by the wayside. These Kent combs are really nice. I dont think you would be disappointed with them.

This entire line of hand-cut pocket and professional combs are the strongest and most durable Ive ever seen. Sure, this comb will cost twice what a common plastic comb will cost, but it will last ten times longer. How often has your present brand been destroyed by other objects kept in the same pocket? This beauty will stand up against Change, Pocket Knives, and Father Time, himself.

I never thought I would love a comb so much. I bought 2 small ones to try...but ended up buying a few more just to have on hand. very well made, great quality, and pretty :-)

I have purchased a few different styles of Kent Combs and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality. This one worked great for my hair cut and type, my hair cut is usually a high skin fade style or Ivy League with about 2-4 inches in length on top. My hair is medium course and I will continue to buy Kent combs until I find something better. The tips on the comb are not pointy and sharp like your injected mold types , so it is easy on your scalp and hair.

Handsome comb that does the job. I’ve been growing my hair out for the first time and it manages to get the knots out without breaking any hairs. I’ll only lose 1-2 hairs whereas other combs would yank out at least a half dozen during a combing. I’ll probably buy another one for travel I’m that smitten.

This is the best comb Ive ever owned. Im a woman with thick, long hair and Ive been buying cheap combs thinking that a comb was a comb. But I started to notice that some of the teeth in my cheap combs were getting bent and breaking my hair when I combed it. This comb doesnt even feel the same. Its like comparing apples and oranges. This comb is heavy and I cant imagine the teeth would snap off or bend under heat. I feel like it massages my scalp when I use it. Its 5.5 x 1.75, so not as long as a regular comb, but not as small as a mens pocket comb. I will definitely invest in more Kent products in the future.

I purchased Kent The Handmade Comb - 146 mm Medium Size for Thick/Coarse Hair Sawcut 12T. I like the quality of the comb. You can tell its made well, is very strong, and can manipulate hair easily; however, I have a few dislikes: 1) The end points of the comb are a little rough on my scalp. Im not sure if this is something that is common amongst new combs like this and if itll smooth out over time but it has been a slight inconvenience. 2) It is not as perfect as some make it out to be. It is a good comb, I will give it that, but its not as game-changing as some of these reviews would have you believe.

This is the same kent comb as the Kent Mens thick/coarse beard comb. It cost me 50% less than the same thing from Amazon just labeled for a beard. The quality is undeniable. My beard, which is extremely coarse and hardcore enjoys being tamed by the comb. It doesnt yank out hair like other plastic ones do since it is smoothly cut and not mold dipped etc. This is the first and only Comb Ive ever spent any money on and it is true, you do get what you pay for. In this case, it is quality. If this one breaks (which it doesnt seem likely for a long time as it is thick and sturdy, like my beard) then I would get another.
