I had a similar comb 20 years ago, from a local retail chain. It was lost and I needed a replacement. There are no longer any stores in my area that carry good quality combs and brushes. I first tried several plastic ones, but they were all terrible. This comb is very smooth, and does not snag or scratch. I would recommend the manufacturer (Kent) to anyone. It is well worth the extra few $.

Feels weird to leave a review for a plastic comb, but this is the one Id been looking for. It has a nice weight to it and does not catch on hairs or pull. I have long, fine, straight hair that is prone to scarf dreads in winter and this comb does the trick to sort them out without breakage (of comb or strands). I bought 2 to protect from family members swiping one.

Awesome craftsmanship. Doesnt hurt the head at all. Even my 3 year old loves getting his hair combed with it.

I’ve waited over a year to see if it would break like all the other combs I’ve tried. Nope it’s still going strong. My hair is long and thick which usual does a comb in inside of 6 months. Not only did this comb endure but it’s comfortable to use and is not harsh on the scalp. Definitely worth the price.

The Amazon photos do not accurately portray the product. I was seeking a table comb with fine teeth, and this looked like it fit the bill. When it arrived, the teeth are widely spaced - more like the type of comb a woman would use in long thick hair. It is not effective for my purpose, and I will likely return it.

This comb is worth every penny! I was frustrated trying to replace a good quality comb I had for years. The ones I could find in my local retailers were sharp and not well finished. I’m thrilled with this comb. It is the perfect size, the teeth are smooth and strong. It glides through my hair beautifully. No snagging or sharp teeth. I purchased the black which is a beautiful tortoise shell black. Beautifully made, high quality comb will last forever. This is a dressing comb and not a pocket or purse size comb. Perfect for my bathroom counter.

Huge difference from the cheap ones I typically buy from Target/Walmart.
