It works very well. I had no issues using this solder. It came perfectly coiled and packaged. My only issue was the tape they used to secure the spool inside the cardboard container. It is secured with a packing tape. This tape was impossible to remove without damaging the paper label on the spool. So now the spool has no information on it. It is a simple fix with a pen. However, I prefer the factory print over my own atrocious handwriting. That is literally the only negative and that is a small gripe.

Excellent solder! I was really surprised at the heft of this roll. Great for re-flow, and drag soldering.

I bought the sample tube of this solder a few months ago, and after having some larger projects, I ran out and replaced it with the 1lb spool. This solder is the best solder Ive used, and the small diameter is great for SMD projects. As long as you are somewhere where you can use leaded solder, this is my go-to solder and I will likely buy another spool with larger diameter for large THT parts as well. The spool holder isnt included with the roll, it is a 3D printed design.

I thought solder should be a simple product that works, but you get what you pay for. Cheap Chinese solder will waste your time/effort/parts/PCB/etc. etc. Get this solder and keep working.

This is some of the best solder Ive ever used (and Ive used a lot). Great action from the flux, resulting in nice flow and soldering. More expensive than other brands, but definitely worth it.

The solder was fine but it was wound improperly on the spool. As a result, the solder wire had to be cut because it kept getting stuck (tangled) in the spool. Never had this problem with other spools of solder that I had prior to this one. As a result, the entire spool was wasted.
