> 3 dayI purchased 3 different rolls of Chinese solder and all 3 were terrible . I will never skimp on solder again . The cost of the 3 were about what 1 roll of the Kester cost . I will be purchasing the Kester brand every time I need solder in the future for my hobbies . There is no comparison in the quality of the solder joints with the Kester being far Superior in Quality , Strength , Ease of Melting and Flowing .

> 3 dayPrefer this smaller size for a lot of electronic work as it wicks better - does not ball up like .030 can. I do use .030 as well though. For most applications use this 63/37 not 60/40 it flows much better and gives a better looking joint

19-11-2024I wish I had discovered this solder earlier. I work with kids doing kit soldering, and some solders have very noxious fumes, which I guess is my fault for not realizing the different kinds of flux, etc. Being very fine (0.5mm) and eutectic (lowest melting point possible for Pb/Sn) it is a dream to work with, and seems odorless.

> 3 dayreally high quality solder. used this for hand wiring a keyboard. extra thin made it great for not blobbing up on my project. melts quickly, and spreads evenly. highly recommend for any small electronics projects.

> 3 dayThis is some of the best solder Ive ever used (and Ive used a lot). Great action from the flux, resulting in nice flow and soldering. More expensive than other brands, but definitely worth it.
