So far so good!

My stock power supply for my Synology DS918+ died after about 4 years and the Synology was only showing a blinking blue light. I was looking to replace it and found this. Perfect fit and build quality seems the same as the power brick that same with my Synology. Very happy with this and would recommend to anyone else who was in my situation. I was able to get back up and running quickly with this KFD 4 PIN Adapter.

Had an older Synology DS-414 that suddenly up and died. Troubleshooting indicated that the external AC adapter was bad. Found this one with same connector and output amp/volts. Syno is now back up and running. Im happy with this purchase.

I went to access my Synology NAS and to my surprise it wasnt there. When I when I went to my network rack there were no lights on the NAS and the LED on power supply was off. I ordered this KFD replacement power supply hoping this would solve my problem. And it did!! Im so glad it was not my NAS and just the PSU. Im also very pleased the KFD replacement unit works well and has very similar specs to the original PGB PSU. If you need a power supply I highly recommend KFD as a replacement. Please see the picture comparing both of the PSUs side by side.

My Synology was randomly powering off for unknown reasons and then, one day, decided to turn off and never come back. I suspected the power adapter immediately and jumped onto Amazon to order this replacement. While the connector to the back of the Synology was a bit tighter than the OEM, it went in fine and as soon as I connected the power, my Synology came back to life! While its too early to tell about longevity, this adapter feels very solid and should last for at least as long as the original (5 years).

The adapter worked properly to power a Synology DS918+. The original OEM power supply still displayed a green light but was unable to sufficiently power the Synology to allow it to start. This replacement adapter allows the Synology to start and run properly.

Our DS412 died (power supply dead). This is an exact replacement and came quickly. Our life is on that NAS. So thankful it came so quick.

This power adapter died after 6 months.

My DS918+ power brick died after just under five years of use, and this one works perfectly as a replacement. Its been going for just over a week with no issues.
