> 3 dayUpdate: 11 months later and power adapter still working without issues. Was about to pull the trigger on a new DS920+ as my DS918+ had the blue blinking led issue. Online documentation indicates the flashing blue led is a motherboard issue and you need to send it back to Synology for repair/replacement (if the unit is still under warranty). My unit was 6 months out of warranty. Purchased the KFD Power adapter and the NAS has been working for the past 10 days without any issues.

> 3 dayHad an older Synology DS-414 that suddenly up and died. Troubleshooting indicated that the external AC adapter was bad. Found this one with same connector and output amp/volts. Syno is now back up and running. Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayI ended up ordering this twice as my first one was DOA, leading me to question whether or not it was my machine that was dead. However, the power brick has a light on it and the first unit’s light was not lit. Using a multimeter, I could tell there was no power. The pin out is printed on the label in case you need to check. Second unit works as intended, light is lit, brought my NAS back to life

> 3 dayMy Synology was randomly powering off for unknown reasons and then, one day, decided to turn off and never come back. I suspected the power adapter immediately and jumped onto Amazon to order this replacement. While the connector to the back of the Synology was a bit tighter than the OEM, it went in fine and as soon as I connected the power, my Synology came back to life! While its too early to tell about longevity, this adapter feels very solid and should last for at least as long as the original (5 years).
