However, the power brick has a light on it and the first unit’s light was not lit. Using a multimeter, I could tell there was no power. The pin out is printed on the label in case you need to check. Second unit works as intended, light is lit, brought my NAS back to life

> 3 dayHad an older Synology DS-414 that suddenly up and died. Troubleshooting indicated that the external AC adapter was bad. Found this one with same connector and output amp/volts. Syno is now back up and running. Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayI went to access my Synology NAS and to my surprise it wasnt there. When I when I went to my network rack there were no lights on the NAS and the LED on power supply was off. I ordered this KFD replacement power supply hoping this would solve my problem. And it did!! Im so glad it was not my NAS and just the PSU. Im also very pleased the KFD replacement unit works well and has very similar specs to the original PGB PSU. If you need a power supply I highly recommend KFD as a replacement. Please see the picture comparing both of the PSUs side by side.

> 3 dayDreaded flashing blue light on my DS918+. Unit would boot up without any drives and also with a 2.5 SSD so motherboard looked ok. But as soon as any 3.5 drive was inserted the unit would fail to start successfully and reboot (when trying to power up the drive a few seconds in). Replacing the power supply with this KFD unit resolved my issue.
