> 24 hourSeems to keep our feral cat warm. He spreads out on it, not curled up in a ball, so that makes me think hes warm. It was a blessing that I found this for him as its been a cold winter. The corners are made to anchor down, which is a good idea. I also like the protective wire that wraps around the cord. It looks small but this fits our medium size feral cat.

> 24 hourWe loved this mat while it lasted- it kept our hedgehog warm and cozy under her sleeping area. Tonight while cleaning her cage, though, we were shocked to see a black, singed hole melted right through to the metal heating element, and the entire casing melted, shrunk, and stiffened again. I’ve had these mats last years and years longer- it’s been 18 months of light duty use, without any direct access to her- no chewing, etc.

> 24 hourUsing this for my guinea pig. Its a very low heat but she likes it. I bought the cover because I didnt have anything appropriate to put over it. The cover is very thin but soft. I dont sew so Im happy to spend $6 on it. The heating pad is hard and easy to clean. She hasnt attempted to chew on any part of it so I cant speak to. I had one of these a long time ago and it lasted forever.

> 24 hourThe smooth sealed plastic covered mild heater, is easily cleaned, and controlled by a thermostat that switches the heat source on and off. A kilowatt device measured, 24 watts and, 0.21 amp when the heat element switched on. Also, the kilowatt measured, 0 watts and, 0 amps when the heater element switched off. The K&H Small Animal Heated Pad was purchased through Amazon Warehouse, and the used, very good rated product, arrived in fine condition, and tested once, works as described.

> 24 hourI don’t know why, but we have three separately caged hedgies and none of them liked this. We bought three pads, with three covers and they just prefer to hang out in their snuggle sacks and relax. I might have weirdo hedgehogs though!

> 24 hourOur cat sleeps in a shed at night. Shes getting older, and we feel badly when its below zero (sometimes -20F). We keep this in the shed inside a cat-carrier that has had its door removed and is covered by insulation. Kitty seems to like it, and even jumps in there at times when the shed door is open during the day.

> 24 hourThe temperature seems fine and the cat obviously approves. They weren’t kidding when they said rigid plastic. It’s hard as a rock, but with the furry cover, it’s OK. Next step is moving it outside into the catio. Hoping to entice the cat to go out there.

> 24 hourDomestic Rabbits cannot live safely outdoors. Please stop letting people think it;s safe to put rabbits in a hutch outside. It is not. Great for INDOOR use.
