As many have said before me, this drive added new life to an older HP Elitebook I had bought from my employer reuse program. I did not need a large storage HD so this was perfect. I am amazed at how fast this thing boots up and how much better the over all performance of the laptop is. For the money this is a great buy!! Buy it and clone your old drive before it goes. I spent some time updating my old drive and cleaning it up before I cloned the new one. It took about two hours for the cloning software and about 5 minute to swap it out. You will not regret buying this drive.

I had no problems with it and it improved my pc speed until it died. It should have lasted longer. I used it to run windows 10. Fortunately it is within the warranty. Which is 3 years or until their SMART ID 231 SSD Life reaches a value of 1. Mine was down to a value of 2 even though it only had a medium to light amount of use in that time. (Value starts at 100). It just started having too many read errors. Couldnt even reformat or even read the partition table to try to fix.

I used this as a boot drive on an old HP Pavilion to upgrade the speeds. I was running an old hard drive before which I left in as mass storage and this ssd improved the boot speed and overall system speed considerably.
