comparatively very reasonable priced. if you dont see in your system when you first time connect go to disk management and intialize , format, create simple volume and assign drive letter, then it will work as normal drive. dont become panic if it dont show because they come un-fotmatted for different os (windows or mac ).

I have purchased drives for my computer for decades now. Every drive I have ever purchased included adapters for different power supplies and even data ribbon cables. Included software to both manage your drive and aid in cloning existing drive if needed. Package was VERY small with no extra freebees.

I was expecting a $16 ssd to burst into flames as soon as I powered on my computer. I was happily wrong. Ive experienced no issues at all with this ssd

Not much to say. Inserted and it works and seems to be fast enough for most things. Gamers may want a little larger one but for most people this will work fine.

Perfect to use as an OS drive especially for the price

I have this SSD installed in my media laptop I use, and it works great! Fast file moving and hasnt shown any issues even with the laptop being used heavily.

Decreased my startup time from one minute to about fifteen seconds.

    Greater than one week

This computer was used primarily for work purposes, and as such was only used the three days a week that we are open. However, the laptop will now no longer recognize the SSD as a bootable drive, and gives me an error when trying to load my OS. Another reviewer says this SSD is not configured to be used as a bootable drive, and I am inclined to agree with him. While it is cheap, this SSD failing after less than 6 months should be very worrying for those who are looking to purchase this SSD as a primary OS drive.

Incredible speeds plus rock-solid reliability - Kingston"s A400 solid-state drive dramatically improves the responsiveness of your existing system with incredible boot, loading and file transfer times compared to mechanical hard drives. Powered by a latest Gen controller for read and write speeds up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, this SSD is 10x faster than a traditional hard drive for higher performance, ultra-responsive multi-tasking and an overall faster system. Also more reliable and durable than a hard drive, A400 is built with Flash memory. There are no moving parts, making it less likely to fail than a mechanical hard drive. It"s also cooler and quieter, and its shock and vibration resistance makes it ideal for notebooks and other mobile computing devices. A400 is available in multiple capacities from 120GB-480GB to give you all the space you need for applications, videos, photos and other important documents. You can also replace your hard drive or a smaller SSD with a drive big enough to hold all your files. Backwards compatibility to SATA Rev. 2.0 (3Gb/s).
