> 3 dayListen AR glasses were my first initial purchase when considering even getting in to this world. The ones I purchased for my daughter for Christmas were not fully compatible with IPhones yet( how I missed this huge piece of information I’ll never know) but I digress. I had minimal knowledge of the VR world but what I did know was that the VR owners made replacing the original head-strap a priority. Upon lots of research on YouTube everyone seemed to talk about a couple of key brands repeatedly and kiwi was one of them. I dont think I ever found a video or tiktok where someone had a strap that encompassed everything I really was looking for in one. (noise canceling + extra battery + upgraded strap) I knew that KIWI was a collectively trusted brand but doubted they had made something that checked all of my boxes without spending a fortune but I was wrong. As soon as I seen it had my boxes checked I didn’t hesitate and purchased without really getting into its details. I was beyond satisfied with the product and still am. It super comfortable, the battery is encased vs being another piece of hardware to keep up with/charge/attach, easily assembled, everything looks and feels not just comfy but well made, not too mention it’s designed for maximum efficiency. The twisting mechanism in the back resizes with one step simply wind it left or right to fit and then the hinge feature makes a handoff process a breeze. It’s worth every dime. I love love love it!

> 3 dayI bought a Quest 2 and immediately knew I wanted a more comfortable head strap for it. My coworker recommended I get one with an extra battery. While I was searching, my boyfriend mentioned he could hear the speakers (he plays his PlayStation in the same room, since we have a small-ish apartment), so I started looking for an all-in-one option. This was it! It’s so comfortable. I’m a 5’0” Asian female with a size 7 to 7-1/2 size head (22.5” circumference). I workout a lot, and I tend to sweat easily. I can play active games with this headset (and Kiwi’s modified face insert) with comfort, and it’s easy to clean. I don’t notice my ears sweat like others have mentioned, but everyone is different. Definitely looking forward to Kiwi’s new case that can accommodate this headset (I’m holding out on buying other cases for transport bc I’m so impressed with their products so far)!

07-06-2025Absolutely LOVE THIS. Its a huge step up from the standard Oculus 2 headstrap. Its SO much more comfortable and stable and I can see better when Im wearing it. I love the audio improvements and the battery pack is awesome. I am thrilled to have bought this. The only thing is, the one with the headphones doesnt fit in the case I bought - but that was an oversight on my end.

> 3 dayLike: Very comfortable. Using the knob to tighten or loosen the straps is nicer than the stock head strap design. I am able to get a much better fit to my face as well. Dislike: Even though the strap battery is fully charged and the screen tells me the Oculus is charging, I receive a warning that the battery is low and to plug the device in asap. If I dont plug it in the Oculus powers down and I lose my game (and game progress). I didnt seem to have the problem for the first few weeks. I have checked that the strap battery is firmly plugged in yet it happens anyway. REVISION: The unit works as advertised. I _thought_ the strap battery was firmly plugged in, as I had pushed quite hard on it and the Oculus screen was showing that charging was happening. Images provided while corresponding with the maker revealed that I possibly needed to push the plug in deeper. So I gave it a shot. No change. Then I gave it another shot. . . pushed _really_ hard on the plug and it did go deeper and I now have full charging. 5 stars . . . or maybe 4 because you have to push so hard on the plug lol.

> 3 dayI really like this headset, it is comfortable and very adjustable. The battery helps balance the Quest and doubles play time. I did have an issue that turned out to be my fault. I had to exchange the first one I got for a replacement but when the second one arrived I was having the same problem. I also bought a charging stand for the headset and the controllers. This stand came with a USB C magnetic connector and a USB A to magnetic adaptor for easy connection and disconnection from the charger. I plugged it into the Kiwis battery while it was on the charging stand. The problem was that when I disconnected the charged cable from the Kiwis battery and left the magnetic adaptor in the USB C slot the Kiwis battery wouldnt send power to the headset. Once I figured out the problem and removed the charge adaptor from the battery everything works fine. Just an FYI for anyone who has this same setup.

> 3 dayI purchased the headset for two reason. 1. To take some of the pressure off my forehead that I usually get after 30 mins of wearing it. With the new head gear I no longer have to worry about that yay! 2. Able to get more play time then before and so far I have got more then a hour and half so that a plus for me because I don’t really play that long so to be able to get a few hours every other day if a plus for me and still haven’t had to charger it so this was worth every single coin!

> 3 dayThe counter balancing aspect to this makes it a worthy upgrade. Rather than feeling like you have a heavy device in front of your face, it evens it out. However, it puts added weight overall, and is more restrictive to move your head around. For example, looking up makes the rear strap and pad hit against your neck, reducing motion. I have to tilt my back a bit to see all the way up. I have a long skinny neck, so it would be worse for other body types. I also noticed that pressure on my cheeks increased. So much that I had to stop using it. I loosened the strap, but it made the vr wobbly. That means another needed upgrade for the face pad! The twist adjuster feels nice and sturdy. Overall it is better than the default strap, but there are unfortunate drawbacks to consider. Maybe not worth the price for casual VR users. Lastly, I used the vr for about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I still feel the pressure points around my face and head.

Greater than one weekThe only thing I would change is the rear adjustment knob. It’s smooth and difficult to turn. Traction grooves would have taken care of that annoyance. Other than that…I’m pleased with my purchase. It’s comfortable and we’ll balanced.
