> 3 dayI had some issues with hearing the tone when moving the tool over breakers that were right next to the one that was actually the circuit with the tone generator plugged in. You have to be careful to make sure you have the right one. Otherwise its nice and has a sturdy case. The adapters that come with are handy too.

> 3 dayVery easy to use. It help me find circuit breakers normally which would be much harder to find.

> 3 dayThe first time I used the product it worked fairly well... It wasnt clear which circuit... Seemed to be triggered near a group. The next time I tried it a couple months later it powered up fine, green light displays, and beeps at a steady pace ... But it never indicates the actual circuit... The beeping doesnt speed up even when I know which circuit is the right one, and testing and changing the battery made no difference. So I can see this as potentially a good tool, especially if your circuits arent marked well... But if course it would need to work in order to be useful.

> 3 dayMy kids are at a point where they are finally out ! Thank God... lol They are working on their homes and when you are taking on a home that anyone else has tinkered with this item quickly goes the electric panel to find what circuit you are working on.. just piece of mind ascac dad knowing they will know with 100% that the breaker they turn off is the correct one.

23-11-2024This is pretty easy to use. You plug the transmitter into a live electrical outlet, then you use the wand to find the corresponding circuit. If you have tandem circuit breakers, its a little more difficult to determine which breaker is the correct one. It helps to make contact with the tip of the wand, and make a few slow passes. You can also detect which other outlets are on the same circuit as the outlet you plugged the transmitter into, but that is less reliable, though useful. It functions as intended, and the accuracy is high enough to do the job. Five stars. I keep buying more Klein tools, and Ive yet to be disappointed by the quality, functionality, or price. This set is quality, just like everything else Ive purchased from Klein. I do recommend that you buy the circuit breaker accessories kit (69411). It includes some extras which include a light socket adapter (E26 base), and an adapter with alligator clamps for bare wires.

> 3 dayCommercial electrician—-I tried to use this item several times. It never detects the breaker/circuit that I am tracing out. Even if the circuit is dedicated with its own neutral.

> 3 dayI bought this product with a lot of hope since I make frequent trip to my outdoor breaker box. But unfortunately, it did not work for me. I even downloaded the instruction manual (none included) to make sure I am using it as intended. The response I was getting from the receiver was quite inconsistent and very much incorrect. I forced learning scan after reset and I was still getting inconsistent results. I finally got some help and located the right breaker in the old fashion way. Then I tried to see if there was anyway I could get this receiver to work with me. No dice! Unfortunately, I had to return the unit back. I am suspecting the issue is with the range. I did estimate the range I was working with but doubt if it is more than 300 ft.
