This payed for itself first day. Old building, panel not marked. Made easy work out of a tough task. Simple to use, very accurate in tight panel.

So we bought a home and the old electrical panel was not mapped put correctly. This helped to quickly identify every breaker with no problem. Great tool to have in your arsenal.

Read the positive and negative reviews regarding accuracy and inaccuracy of the tool and unfortunately experienced the same unreliable results as the later in that it identified up to 6 different breakers it the outlet I was working on it was fed from. Therefore, the inaccuracy drops the value added of the device to 2 stars overall. Wish it would have worked but back to the old flipping random breakers to locate the right one. Unless of course you like feeling that little a zap every once in awhile. To each his own.

I really feel Klein knocked it out of the park with this one. So easy and accurate my 11yr old was tracing breakers for me.

Used it to find a breaker for an outlet I wasn’t sure which it was. Worked perfect. To double check I went up and down slowly a couple times. Depending on where you place it in the panel/breakers it may throw you off by one. Overall VERY happy.

It is a hit or miss with this. Plug the transmitter into one outlet and the only breaker that the receiver picks up on is the right one. But then put it in another outlet and the receiver picks up across 3 or 4 breakers. None of which is the right one. Dont know if I simply got a defective one or if the technology is just a gimmick. And before you ask, yes I read and followed the instructions.

I bought this product with a lot of hope since I make frequent trip to my outdoor breaker box. But unfortunately, it did not work for me. I even downloaded the instruction manual (none included) to make sure I am using it as intended. The response I was getting from the receiver was quite inconsistent and very much incorrect. I forced learning scan after reset and I was still getting inconsistent results. I finally got some help and located the right breaker in the old fashion way. Then I tried to see if there was anyway I could get this receiver to work with me. No dice! Unfortunately, I had to return the unit back. I am suspecting the issue is with the range. I did estimate the range I was working with but doubt if it is more than 300 ft.

I was able to label my entire panel just by shutting off one breaker at a time instead of using this. The downside of having it plugged in is the false signals it transmits back to breaker. I couldnt find the breaker since it made signal to multiple breakers. It works for half the time and yes I had to press the reset once I found it. I looked on video youtube and it has to learn your circuit breakers before finding it. The instructions doesnt mention this I think I would rate it 5 stars if they gave it better instructions on how to use because I think im not using it how it is intended.
