> 3 daySo why did I title this review, Surprisingly Great!? Mostly because Ive never heard of the brand, Klim and assumed this would be just another average no-name mouse trying to ride the gaming hype. Thankfully, thats not the case. Not even close! lol This is a great mouse! The packaging, presentation, materials, build quality, features, performance, are all top notch! If this had a real brand name slapped onto it, Im sure it could easily be sold for quite a bit more money. That said, judging by the reviews from other countries outside the US, Klim is already building a well deserved reputation, Im sure its a matter of time before its a well known brand on this side of the pond too. It should be! Theres plenty of pictures and video here already, so I wont clutter this up with more. Instead, Ill leave you with some observations that I havent seen mentioned in the listing or other reviews. The charging base plugs into the PC with a USB-C cable, and has a standard size USB port on the front side. This is the perfect place for the USB receiver! Keeps it close to the mouse for better performance, and frees up a port on the PC. The instructions specifically state that this port on the charging base is only for power, and gives and example of charging a phone, and not for data. This just doesnt seem to be the case, at least for the wireless receiver. The charging base has nice, soft, grippy pads on the bottom. They work very well to hold the base in place on your desk while sitting the mouse on top to charge. It stays put until you want to move it. Perfect! While the lighting is fully customizable in the mouse (using the Windows software), the lighting in the charging base can only be manually selected from 4 modes using the button on the bottom of it. One mode is totally off. I chose to leave it off just because it seemed a bit much having it always glowing on the desk, especially when it doesnt match the way I have the mouse set up. Not only can you select various lighting modes and infinite colors for the glow around the bottom of the mouse, you can also set the color and modes for the log on the back of the mouse, which is also tied to each DPI mode. Set a different color for each DPI and the logo changes color as you select them. The logo also doubles as a charge indicator. When the mouse is placed on the charging base, the logo will blink red or yellow to indicate low battery or charging, and turns solid green when charging is complete. All buttons on the mouse are customizable, with lots of options for each, at least as many as any other mouse Ive had, more than most. Once you have your mouse set up to your liking, you can export the profile, then import it again later if need be. The mouse feels great in my hand, and glides SO smooth. Tracking is very very good and precise, button clicks feel crisp. The forward/back buttons have a little less travel than some mice Ive had in the past, which feels great. The scroll wheel is smooth and responsive, had detents like a traditional wheel, which I prefer. There is no side scrolling on the wheel. Part of me wishes there was, but its not something I use a whole lot, so I can live without it. The mouse is on the lighter side, its lighter than most wireless mice Ive used before, which for me is a good thing. I like the feel. All around, Im pleasantly surprised with this mouse, and I feel its worth every penny. I can and do confidently recommend it!

> 3 dayThis mouse was a good mouse. The lighting effects are cool, but they kill the battery. When you turn off the lighting effects, the battery lasts a long time. There is a nifty charging dock. This mouse definitely improved my gaming and accuracy.

> 3 dayIve been on the hunt for a new mouse to replace a cheapo garbage one I purchased about 2 years ago. I wanted something that was rechargeable, MacOS compatible, could be used for daily driving at work, and could do some light gaming here and there. After ordering dozens of mice from Amazon and probably abusing their return policy, I came across this one and Im sticking with it. Pros: *Its inexpensive compared to other mice in this category with similar specs and build quality. *It feels great: It doesnt creak or bend. Its comfortable and responsive. The clicks are tactile. The scroll wheel has a gentle bumpy notch without being too stiff. The built in pads are smooth on a wood desk. *The dock makes it super easy to just plug in and recharge at the end of the day. Its slightly magnetic to make the mouse click and hold in place during a charge. The feet on the bottom of the dock are just grippy enough to make sure it doesnt slide all over on your desk. *Weight and length is pretty good for a larger hand. I use a claw grip and find it extremely comfortable. *Battery life lasts an entire workday with the RGB pumped to full brightness. After about 5 minutes of non-use, the mouse goes dark and in to a sleep mode. Clicking or moving the mouse the slightest bit wakes it up instantly. *Works just fine in MacOS out of the box. (with a caveat about the software not being compatible...) Cons: *The software leaves a little bit to be desired. Its functional and absolutely gets the job done, but it looks like its from the 90s. And might be blatantly copied from another company (Pwnage). Theres no Mac compatibility for the software either. I had to run it in a VM and configure my mouse there, and all the settings carry over when the VM is closed and Im running in pure MacOS, so Im happily using it with my own RGB and DPI settings. *The base station cant have its RGB adjusted in the software. Thankfully theres a button on the bottom of it to cycle through a few different settings. (or turn it off if you want!) *No mouse wheel RGB. Who needs more battery life? This thing already goes an entire 8 hour workday without trouble. *The plastic looks like it may soak up oils pretty easily. I have a feeling that after a few months this is going to be a bit of a mess! Seriously consider this mouse. You wont be disappointed. Just make sure you pull the plastic off the feet. ...theres nothing in the directions, or any indication that theyre covered!

> 3 dayThis mouse works. That’s about it. Unfortunately, for me the thing made my internet wifi disconnect every time I touched it. As soon as I unhooked it I never had a problem again. Waste of money.

> 3 dayThis mouse was a gamble for me as I tend to gravitate towards the higher dollar mice like logitech, or even roccat. My choice in gaming mice boils down to customization and support for Linux, I work as a Dev and I need a quality mouse that can be fully operational in a linux setting as well as windows. While the app for this mouse is pretty limited, it at least does have a full app for windows but nothing yet for linux so not the end of the world in my opinion since I can hard change the dpi on the mouse still and all other buttons are still operational. On to the usage, this thing is insane for the price. Comparing it to something like the logitech g502 or the basilisk ultimate would be hard since those are great mice in their own rights. However its not far off from either in terms of tracking. I feel if you really tune the dpi it can feel a lot like you are using one of those while costing far less. The mouse still comes with the wireless base charger that does double as a usb extender for the receiver. It also has an excellent feel in the hand and the rgb, while not customizable on linux can be somewhat controlled on windows. Finally the cons The controls for the mouse are basic which can be either good or bad depending on your use case. The mouse can only go up to 6000 dpi which some will argue isnt enough but i feel like that can be a use case also. The biggest con in my opinion is the weight of the mouse, its a featherweight compared to a standard mouse. This can be easily solved if you added some weight to it on the inside or maybe add that as a feature down the road. Ultimately if you are needing a good mouse that can be used daily and put away or on charge easily then this is a real contender IMO, while it might be for everyone id say this is easily 90% what you will need in a good wireless computer mouse that will track well and provide easy of use when handling. I give it a solid 10/10 for the price. EDIT: So I got with a buddy and we are making a fake usb dongle made from solid steel in his workshop, easy to do and then add to the mouse to see if it helps with the weight because I seriously feel like thats its only real shortcoming. Will upload more pics when its done. EDIT 8/23/22: So I measured the mouse weight and boy was I correct. The mouse in total weighs about 88g which is extremely light, too light IMO. A regular mouse like the logitech g502 (old mouse now) weighs about 129g with 10g added through the weights placed underneath. Im used to mice having this feature but when you pay $40 for something its hard to expect everything a $180 mouse has lol. I added an 8g weight my colleague made roughly to see how this works as he is getting one of these bad boys lol. He used it and agreed that its nice for the money and features. We found that while the 8g helps, I feel that roughly 20g would be perfect. All in all if this issue could be fixed then i feel that this is an awesome mouse
