Klipsch RP-450C Center Channel Speaker - Ebony

Got this paired with RP-280F speakers. Overall its good. Havent been able to properly test because I need a new AVR. The one I have outputs maybe 35 watts. Will test once I get a better AVR that outputs more watts

Looks as good as it sounds

The center channel is the most important part of any HT setup. Go big or go home! This is the right one to have. Absolute clarity, crisp highs and very tough and even mids. If you dial this in right it’s got some good lows as well. Couldn’t be more happier!

Nice sound. I replaced an aging center channel speaker. It is amazing to hear what Ive been missing.

I have been using a bose center channel speaker for over 15 years with the 2 dual cube bose speakers. I thought it was time to upgrade and I had a Klipsch 2.1 speaker setup for my computer that was really good so I thought I would do some research on Klipschs home theater speakers. I settled on this for my center channel and wow! first, when I got the box, I didnt realize how giant this speaker is. Luckily, I had room on the bottom of my entertainment center. The sound is amazing! It looks great and I like that the speaker cover is magnetic as sometimes I like it on and sometimes I like it off. the copper color speakers are a nice touch. This thing is solid and seems like very good quality. I bought this speaker hoping to get another 15-20 years out of it, and I think I made the right choice. Both music and movies are great and if you have the money for this, I recommend you buy it.

Excellent packaging from Amazon. The Klipsch box was actually inside an Amazon box making it more difficult to destroy during shipping. Sound quality is excellent when I paired the center with RP-280f and Rp-12SW sub. The only thing I can recommend is to check the measurements and weight on this speaker. It’s big and heavy so it might be challenging for smaller TV stands.

Superb centre speaker

I give this 5 stars because it deserves it. This unit is quite deep and takes some room. So double check the size specs before you order. Once you can accommodate it size wise, ohhhh man, you will be very pleased. These speakers like all Klipsch speakers are very sensitive and do not take a lot of RMS watts to drive them. But dont be afraid to let it rip. Give some time for them to break in and you will be rewarded with excellent sound. Voices are clear, very staged and excellent in all ways. This speaker is in between the RP-280F speakers with a R-115SW subwoofer. Great system for a very reasonable cost. Lots of value and I trust they will last as long as the MK speakers I had.
