> 3 dayGreat speaker. Just make sure you have room behind your screen. I meant to replace a bad center speaker behind my screen, but this speaker wont fit behind the screen so now it sits beneath it. It kind of messes up the movie characters talking, its like they are throwing their voices.

> 3 dayI bought the Klipsch RP-504C to replace my Klipsch Synergy C-10 for my home theater. Now I am getting way better sound for the center channel. The C-10 gave a great sound, but the RP-504C produces a much better clean & crisp sound. Extremely happy with my purchase. If it’s got to be home theater, it’s got to be Klipsch all the way.

> 3 dayFor $1000 speaker i expected something at least as clear as my car audio. i was disappointed. Klipsch is very over rated compared to Hertz, Focal or other car audio systems.

> 3 dayThis speaker tries to do TOO much, is my diagnosis. It is large, four big woofers (large relative to most center channels) and the tractix horn.... and thus, all the effects and whatnot overwhelm and bury the dialogue into a recessed position. Yes, if you turn it up real loud you can hear everything, but then youre shaking the house... fine if thats what youre looking for. But what about just standard watching? Normal, lets watch a movie or tv show and be able to still have a conversation - type watching...? Then this speaker is not so good; indeed, youd be better off with two-channel stereo for music listening (or maybe just ditch the surround sound altogether, just sayin ) and a good clear-dialogue soundbar. For a $900 (or $650... or even $300) a center channel should be able to do it all instead of being one trick pony of crank-it-up-or-you-wont-understand-it type product.

> 3 dayits massive and heavy.... maybe gold bars inside. new vented tweeter has a very clean reproduction. transparent (sound develops in front of speaker rather than from the speaker itself if that makes sense) and powerfull sound.

Greater than one weekI recently upgraded from a Klipsch Rc-62ii center to the RP-504c and the difference was instant. I absolutely love this speaker. This thing packs a power punch with clean sound and vocals. The Walnut finish is beautiful and kind of makes me wish I did the rest if my setup in Walnut instead of black. Ha But this is the final piece to my setup and I couldnt be happier. Klipsch is the best speakers on the market. Put your money into a quality center speaker, you wont regret it!
