good value for the price. I work in a wet and dirty environment It hurts when you ruin an expensive tape measure. These do the job for me.

I got tired of fighting the POJ Stanley - so i bought 2 of these. What a nice surprise!! The ruler pull out/retract is almost effortless and quite smooth, and the measure increments are easy to read - even for an old coot like me! :) Plus - the whole thing is just the right size. It fits easily in my hand and makes managing it all much easier. Only thing I wish would be a color other than DeWalt yellow. Gimme some fluorescent pink or lime green! Heck even a summer sky blue would work! Anything color that sets this apart from all other tools

Great buy for the price, it’s your basic measuring tape, used all around the house, it’s accurate as far as I know, the measurements could be off who knows lol, but at least in my apartment they are correct because everything is evened out!

I misplaced my Stanley and not wanting to pay too much I took a chance and luckily picked a winner. This works fine for my needs. Nice weight to it. Feels like it should have cost more. But Im glad it didnt.

I bought this even though it was a brand name I never heard of because it has the 16th marking right on the tape. Meaning you dont have to be thinking is that 3/16s or 11/16s, it actually says 3/16 on the tape. When I am working its sometimes hard to see the tape lines (as Im old) and being able to read the numbers makes it easier. The tape has a nice feel and is slightly more compact in size than other tapes. The case is rubberized so you dont have to worry as much about scratching a table if you lay it down, unlike a lot of brands that are hard plastic. The lock feature is a novel design, well see if it holds up over time. The reason I bought this was because I had two other brand tapes have the lock break on the same day. This one is good so far.

I give the product 4-Stars and the packaging one star. Product: I bought this product mainly because of the Speed Mark measuring feature which for me is very useful. The tape measure is heavy, which I think is an asset. It feels great in your hands and is stable for hands free operation. It appear to be a high quality device based on its feel, looks and sturdiness. Things I do not like about it: I was hoping the actual measuring section was constructed of plastic for rust reasons. Also, the measuring section is concave in design. Im not sure if this is manufactured this way for a reason or not, regardless I would prefer a flat measuring section. Packaging: The item was very, very difficult to remove from its original packaging. If you are not careful removing the tape measure while using a utility knife, you can easily cut the rubber coating or your hand.

As a single lady who does DIY projects alone without assistance...I really wanted a long, large print tape measure. Especially one that would snap into place so I could measure large areas. Well it did well on the other points and even the hold in place feature worked well but after a while it just broke (less than 2 years). I’m disappointed but I will say ...I really loved it until that feature broke . Maybe you will have better luck.
