I got tired of fighting the POJ Stanley - so i bought 2 of these. What a nice surprise!! The ruler pull out/retract is almost effortless and quite smooth, and the measure increments are easy to read - even for an old coot like me! :) Plus - the whole thing is just the right size. It fits easily in my hand and makes managing it all much easier. Only thing I wish would be a color other than DeWalt yellow. Gimme some fluorescent pink or lime green! Heck even a summer sky blue would work! Anything color that sets this apart from all other tools

Very nice little tape for the money. The blade doesnt have the nice coating or markings on the back that my last Komelon does but its also less than half the price so for what I paid I have no complaint. The blade is still clearly marked and readable, the fractional speedread markings are great. Its also quite light despite its stout appearance. I havent used it too much so I cant comment on its durability yet but so far its a great little tape at a great price.

Love this - SO much easier to actually SEE the measurement numbers vs all the others that we have ESP handy when viewing overhead.

does what it supposed to do and is very sturdy. However, I am 75 and have small hands. Should have taken that into account before picking a tape measure. Is too big and heavy for me. However for most people this would be a perfect choice.

Favorite tape measure Ive ever owned, bar none. Love it so much, bought a second one (so could always find when looking for, lol :) ) I mean, come on, I never thought Id so much as even write a review for a tape measure of all things, let alone have this many good things to say about one : ) PROS: • Plenty wide, but not too much so. • Great stand-out distance • Very easy to read • Operation couldnt be better – extends out and pulls back very easily; brake holds excellently • Perfect overall size, super easy to hold – not too big, not too small, but just right, and lightweight too CONS: • It doesnt wash dishes. BWAHAHAHA, jk – there are no cons! :):):)

    Lock feature sucks

At 3x3” and 1.75” thick this is beefier than the average 16’ tape measure. This is mostly due to the rubber wrapped case which feels great in my hand and also helps avoid scratching delicate surfaces. Accuracy is dead on. I love the 1” wide (off) white tape and the 1/8” readings. I’m tired of 16’ tapes that are 3/4” wide. But the real dealmaker for me is the lock lever which, when partially depressed, can slow down/control the blade retraction. I’m not sure if this was an intended or accidental feature of the lock mechanism but I hate tapes with no ability to control retraction, which is almost all. For $6 it’s a no brainer. I also ordered the 12’ version for a better fit in my shop apron pouch.

I misplaced my Stanley and not wanting to pay too much I took a chance and luckily picked a winner. This works fine for my needs. Nice weight to it. Feels like it should have cost more. But Im glad it didnt.

I dont know why I thought they would be smaller, but I bought one for my junk drawer because the old one had a kink in it, and I got an extra for my daughter, and then I was almost apologetic about the size of the thing, and it has to be at the bottom of the junk drawer, with nothing under it, otherwise its difficult to close the drawer!

A bit heavier than I think it needs to be.
