Just received this and it is great! Retract is fast. Locks & unlocks easily with one hand. But I didnt think it would be as heavy as it is. I didnt pay notice to the weight. It is sturdy and is going to last a long time for sure. Told my 29year old grandson its his when I die, and Not until! Hes already eyeing it. This is a good product and well worth the money.

lock feature is awesome and easy to read and accuracy is on point.

Finally replaced my old tape measure and this one really solved some of my general complaints about most models. It has fractional numbers on one side, which really helps. The tape is strong enough such that it remains rigid for easy measurement. I really like the lock mechanism, but my favorite feature is that is slowly retracts and doesnt snap into my hand!!

Has survived many drops and looks like it will continue to do so for the foreseeable future

I really like the double sided measuring tape. I measure oil tanks daily at work. The verticle numbers are easier to read and the white background makes the oil level much easier to see.

I like and trust the Komelon brand tape measures for durability. My son told me about them. Now that I am taking on a larger project I want an additional tape measure. I have had my original Komelon tape measure for years. No kinks, no problems with retraction, no troubles what so ever. And a good price for a quality tape measure. Additionally if you have small hands like me (51) You are going to absolutely Love the size of this tape measure. And it shows you the incremental measurements too.

Works great. Easy to read. The outside is really grippy. Ive already dropped it on the concrete floor at work, with no apparent damage. Belt clip stays put and doesnt spin like on cheaper tape measures. Cant go wrong with this purchase for the price. I would buy it again.

The Bad News: Its not made in the U.S.A., and that made it tough to buy at the outset. The Good News: You name it. Every feature of this Komelon tape measure is top tier. The accuracy, markings, horizontal extension, retraction strength, and overall fit and finish make it the best tape measure Ive ever owned.

A bit heavier than I think it needs to be.
