Koss Porta Pro On Ear Headphones with Case, Black / Silver

Best earphones I ever had. Unbelievable good quality. I had Bose, Philips, Technics, Shenhiser. Bose is good but not as good as this Koss and 5 times more expensive. Very, very cool item

These headphones deserve all the love in the world, they provide really good sound and for rock bottom prices. I cant imagine anything more crazy than people who are willing to pay more and receive less just because of an apple or some kind of empty promise from soulless corporations who promise top tier audio and dont deliver. These headphones are proof that companies can give us good audio (but they wont) I recommend these and I also recommend you buy extra earpads you may need them.

The sound quality was not impressive to me at all , I have no idea why these get such great ratings. Im glad I tried them out though.

They sound amazing and fold up for portability. I would highly suggest using these. I bought them specifically for going to the gym, I couldnt hear anything over the loud music at the gym but these are loud enough to overpower the gym music.

I had a pair of Portapros for years and years. When they finally wore out, I didnt feel bad replacing them. I bought a second pair on Amazon last year (2012) and the wire at the plug has already broken on them despite careful use. Reading the Sportapro review, the plug seems to be a weak link and Im afraid that the Portapros have the same issue now. Its really a bummer, they used to be GREAT. Not sure what to replace them with.

There are great phones for sure. I have a collection of over ear, on ear, and in-ear phones and developed some critical listening ability and in my experience the Koss sound good. Im not going to discuss all the genres for the sake of time, but they did sound good for classical and rock and EDM. The retrodesign is fine, but the mechanics of leaves me wary. It does catch my hair on a consistent basis, and despite the pressure settings over the ear, they somehow cause discomfort within an hour. Im thinking that a relatively small percentage of people would share that experience. I do like the folding mechanism and the life time warranty! Nice. Yes, people say you get a lot for the money, but unless these are your only phones, Id likely be reaching out for my other phones.

Had these for a couple years and then the left earphone came apart. Mailed it in to koss and they sent a brand new replacement. Great customer service.
