> 3 dayWOW. Like many others here, I was looking for something better than the stock iPod earbuds. I did the research on the net and found these Porta Pros and the Sennheiser PX100s and couldnt make up my mind...they both get excellent reviews from many sites.

> 3 dayThese headphones are FANTASTIC! Purchased these after reading reviews on CNET saying how amazing these were. Cant believe they only cost $34.99, sound better than many $100+ sets. Love the quirky 80s styling too, and very comfortable to wear.

> 3 dayWe now have all kinds of Listening devices, from amazing Earbuds to full earphones with leathery earpads as well as USB earphones and then there are these - the Koss PortaPro is the most comfortable and has the best sound quality of any of them that I at least own and it is the one I choose at home for long term use. Still, a good set of Earbuds is better for my MP3 to go for a run or a walk to the store. The trouble with earbuds though is that they are just too Intense on your Ears and can too easily hurt my ears and I worry about damage and eventual hearing loss. I do not get that intense quality from the Koss and although Im not giving up my high-end Earbuds completely I prefer the Koss most of the time now. They certainly are the most comfortable due to the lightness you pretty much forget they are on and the size is as small as practicality allows. I like it that they use the, what I call Pin type plug since I dont have that many USB ports and just guessing it seems to produce clearer sounds. There is really no reason not to take them out for walks and more sweaty activities as they fit securely but despite remarkable portability they just dont fit in a pocket as well as a pair of Earbuds. These are the ones though that I wish I could have Wireless since they are the ones comfortable enough to wear all the time and around the house and yard... soooo, just perfect for your MP3 as well.

> 3 dayIve been using these for many years, mostly for playing music during workouts. I am a fan of really high end headphones (Sennheiser 595s) and, although my Koss phones arent quite up there with them, they really do satisfy. Great bass, great presence and you could run over them with a car and theyd still work. When I bought these (more than ten years ago) the dealer (whom I trusted) said these are the best. He was absolutely right.

> 3 dayi got these because they were recommended by a lot of people as being great value for the price. i got these for $20 so i cant complain. they have great sound but i noticed that compared to one of my pairs of earphones, i had to increase the volume a bit. i also paid $12 for the yaxi pads but i found they increase the comfort but reduce the bass. the default pads are ok but if i wear the headphones for 3-4 hours or more i get some discomfort on my ears from them being a little too tight. so the yaxi pads reduce the bass but the default pads arent comfortable for long periods.. not great.
