> 3 dayI bought this headphone to use with a cheap portable music player (SanDisk Sansa Clip Jam). It is a very good fit for this player. It is crisp and clear with decent though not great bass. It is pretty good at not having the sound seem right in the middle of your head. In general it sounds much better than headphones at this price should.

> 3 dayJe ne lai pas encore reçu mais pour mon 4 eme je connais ce casque . Il est flatteur il faut le savoir , un son de club mais avec des sources corectes il reste la référence en ultra portable . Je lutilise sur un Fiio m11 et , après avoir essayé une vingtaine de casques , tous plus onéreux et bien je suis repartis avec mon portapro et rien dautre ( jai aussi un akg 702 , très différent pour écouter de façon sédentaire du classique . )

> 3 dayI love headphones. I was researching the old 1960s Koss Pro 4A and came upon these. Bought them for a lark. keep them at my bedside when I want headphones instead of earbuds, you know, just to give myself that extra chance of strangling myself in my sleep.

Greater than one weekRecently purchased my 3rd set of Porta-Pros when they were offered at $ 25 USD. I love the sound quality and have enjoyed my earlier sets through the years. I dont know of anything else that comes close to the sound quality of these headphones at this price. So why have I bought multiples of these through the years? Well, if you use them during travel the wear and tear adds up. Not really a fault of the Porta-Pros, but more just the way of the world. Sure, I can send them back to Koss for warranty repair, but in all honesty its not a product defect and just normal wear an tear. I had a wire break in one set (they tend to do that if you do something stupid and drop them such that they are hanging by the wire a few times), so I just grabbed set number two off the shelf and was back in business. My recent set #3 is now on the shelf for when needed down the road. If youve never tried the Porta-Pros, do yourself a favor and grab a pair when they are offered at a cheap price. You will not be disappointed.

> 3 dayI was tired of my apple ipod headphones and so did some research. When I came up with these I wasnt sure that the Portapros would be very good. But after receiving them I really enjoy them a lot. Sound quality is great, I can hear details that I couldnt hear before. Overall a great set of headphones for a great price.

> 3 dayThese sound fine but they very easily slide and the metal parts often dig into my ears. Constantly having to readjust but it never fails to be uncomfortable. Wouldnt recommend. Im getting over the ear ones now. Sometimes you just have to pay a little bit more for certain things to get quality.

> 3 dayKoss PortaPro sound quality is sub-par in my estimation, not sharp and clear little mushy for me. I thought that with the Inclusion of Pro in the designation it would be of higher quality.

> 3 dayFor the comfort, sound, and price, these cannot be beat. I bought these when my Sennheiser PX 100 headphones cord wore out and I found the newer version, PX 100-II, uncomfortable. The PortaPro is an economical replacement that nears the sound and comfort level of the (original) PX 100 and the Koss cord seems to be more durable.* The PortaPros have an adjustment lever (in blue) to make them sit firmly or lighty on the ear. Using the light setting, I can wear them for hours without discomfort, They are good for watching TV, gaming, or listening to music.

> 3 dayThe Koss Porta Pros are okay with most of my equipment but they are the best phones I have found to use with my iPod Touch. Natural sound at reasonable listening levels. Vocals are especially smooth. Far superior to the Panasonic RP-HT227 at a similar price point. Light weight with enough tension to stay in place on your head unless youre doing a workout or spinning.

> 3 dayVery impressed with the sound quality for the price. I own and enjoy a variety of cans (Klipsch One, B&W P5, and AKG 701). I heard so many good things about the Porta Pros and everything is true (even the slight con - the pulling of hair periodically). They are light weight, comfortable, and have a full sound. I like the minimalist retro look - they look like they should be plugged into a Sony Walkman. Read a few more reviews if you need a little more convincing.
