Kraus KAG-1BG Dishwasher Air Gap, Brushed Gold

As stated in the headline, the oiled-bronze finish of the cap matched my existing sink perfectly. I looked at several air gaps before choosing this one. It seems that there is one standard size, regardless of brand, the descriptions of which state that they require a 1 1/2-inch sink hole. My sink hole is 1 3/8-inches, and this air gap just fit/w no leaks. A 1 1/2-inch sink hole probably would have been too big. Measure your sink hole before ordering. If you need to cut a sink hole, I would leave it to a professional, if you have an enameled cast-iron sink. Dont cut a hole until you have the air gap that you intend to install.

When installing my new gorgeous Kraus faucet, discovered the dishwasher overflow cap was not part of the package? Amazon to the rescue again - I found this matching modern Kraus part for an unbelievable price!

It looks nice and seems sturdy. I subtracted a start because its five times louder than the crappy one it replaced.

Goes perfectly in my kitchen

The hoses on both sides are big enough and there are no clogs in the drain. But cannot handle the flow from my Bosch dishwasher and constantly overflows.

Not the same brushed brass color as the Kraus faucet. I intentionally bought this so that it matches and it’s darker

All plastic broke in three weeks of living in house (and not used daily)

Looks nice seems sturdy enough. Love the no show smudge. The flat top is attractive. I won’t be-able to give a complete review until this gets installed in our new remodel
