> 3 dayLovely product. Great pigment when the water is left on the surface of the paint for a minute or so to activate it. Metallic colours are vibrant and glittery.

> 3 dayThese paints are so pretty. Each color is unique when painted and not just the same looking shimmering blob. I had a difficult time getting the box open initially trying not to tear it but I’ll be trimming the tabs to prevent that in the future. I wish these came in a proper case but they work just fine this way. I tend to be very messy so I worry about messing up the cardboard with too much water, but hopefully it lasts!

> 3 dayIve honestly been lusting after the Finetech metallic watercolor pallet for ages, but could never justify spending the $$$, I purchased this pallet thinking it would be sub-par, but Im honestly so impressed with the quality. I will be doing a full review of this product very soon on my YouTube art channel, but so far, Im very pleased with the product. If you want to increase the pigmentation, I recommend placing a few drops of water onto the pan you wish to use and letting it sit for a few moments before dipping in with your brush. Also, the packaging isnt ideal, especially since cardboard is... well... water soluble, and these are water-activated paints afterall... so that wasnt a great move on their part. But youre a creative person, Im sure you DIY wizards could come up with a solution. Hot glue them into an old Altoids tin or something? I dont know.

> 3 dayVery easy to use and loved that it has just the right opacity to make paintings more dramatic and moody. A little bit goes a long way so it’s good value for the money.

> 3 dayI was impressed by the shimmer, assuming it would not be anywhere near as metallic as in the pan, but it is! My only disappointment is there is very little paint, the large square makes it appear that you get lots of paint but the paint is actually very thin so you dont get as much as I would hope for the price.

Greater than one weekOk so overall, this product is worth the money. Shimmer watercolors are not common or expected in color palettes and not too common in general. The formula for these is workable and has incredible pay off for the glitter. The color range is more dramatic on paper, I was worried bc the 04 and 05 look similar in the pan. The coverage is amazing for 01 and 04 just incredibly thick and opaque in one layer. 02 and 03 is a little patchy but a second layer fixes that. Then 05 and 06 are very sheer however that is expected/wanted from the light colors. I compared my acrylic gold ink ($7 on clearance so its the cost of this whole pallette) to 02 and its almost a perfect color match. My ink is more opaque but its acrylic so what do you expect. In conclusion, if you need a gold pallette for those special details: this is the pallette for you. Honestly just buy it for 04 because man thats just such a good pay off for a gorgeous champagne color.
