> 3 dayThese paints are so pretty. Each color is unique when painted and not just the same looking shimmering blob. I had a difficult time getting the box open initially trying not to tear it but I’ll be trimming the tabs to prevent that in the future. I wish these came in a proper case but they work just fine this way. I tend to be very messy so I worry about messing up the cardboard with too much water, but hopefully it lasts!

> 3 dayFor what they are, metallic watercolors, they are the best Ive used at this price point. More transparent than other metallic options (like paint markers) allows for overlay techniques and adding shine and details on top of other mediums like watercolor or pencil drawings. They have a strong metallic look to them when you move the paper under light, but transparent enough not to be a solid color. Not as good for pure gilding as a metallic marker might be, which is truly opaque. They layer with themselves okay, but not great, so if you really want a super solid metallic color that is solid no matter the angle of the paper, go with something else like metallic paint marker or metallic oil pencil. But if you want to add neat shimmer and gold effects without completely blocking out the drawing and details underneath, these are excellent for that.

Greater than one weekLove these colors. I use the gold a lot, the copper is quite pretty, and the silver adds beautiful highlights. We pull them out every time at Ladies Paint Night. The girls are addicted. Spray to hydrate, and then let the paints dry naturally. Havent had any problems with this method.

> 3 dayThe pans have a variety of golds and almost platinum which are quite lovely. There is even a white glitter choice that can be added to Christmas and winter themes. Absolutely love this set for accenting homemade cards!

> 3 dayOk so overall, this product is worth the money. Shimmer watercolors are not common or expected in color palettes and not too common in general. The formula for these is workable and has incredible pay off for the glitter. The color range is more dramatic on paper, I was worried bc the 04 and 05 look similar in the pan. The coverage is amazing for 01 and 04 just incredibly thick and opaque in one layer. 02 and 03 is a little patchy but a second layer fixes that. Then 05 and 06 are very sheer however that is expected/wanted from the light colors. I compared my acrylic gold ink ($7 on clearance so its the cost of this whole pallette) to 02 and its almost a perfect color match. My ink is more opaque but its acrylic so what do you expect. In conclusion, if you need a gold pallette for those special details: this is the pallette for you. Honestly just buy it for 04 because man thats just such a good pay off for a gorgeous champagne color.

> 3 dayBeautiful colors, vibrant and highly pigmented. When I first tried this, I was a little bit disappointed, the product didnt feel as I was expecting, and the colors were not what I thought they should look like. But, yesterday I did a drawing with it and Omg, I realized I wasnt putting enough water on it. They are precious, and the finish is just perfect.
