> 3 dayI bought this keyboard as a gift for my boyfriend, and liked it so much I had to get one for me too. LOVE it! Brings a smile to my face, and I love the quick change buttons to power the lights on to solid, or slowly pulsing. The keyboard is made very well, and is not too loud to type on. Happy with my purchase, and adds a bit of magic to our gaming nights. Thanks for a great product!

> 3 dayPerfect for my needs! I just needed a light up keyboard because my eyes are going bad and I have trouble seeing the keyboard. This keyboard lights up, has a pretty rainbow gradient, and there are different brightness settings and breathing settings. Granted, it only has that one rainbow color, but I think it’s still cool looking. It’s not the quietest keyboard, but not the typical loud clunkiness of a mechanical keyboard. Your roommate will still hear you type. Reminds me of a keyboard I got in 2015. The keys are medium size in height, not huge. Note the keyboard is raised and tilted, and there is no flat keyboard option. So you may need a wrist support pad. It’s very clean looking. No software needed, my Windows 7 computer read it right away. There is a little brush included too for sweeping into between your keyboard keys. I tested all the keys and they work! Such a nice simple keyboard. I’m really happy I bit the bullet and bought this more inexpensive keyboard. Good quality.

> 3 dayI had trouble finding a backlit keyboard that I liked and could see. The one I had ordered before this had white keys and a rainbow light and it was nearly impossible to read the keys. For that reason, I selected the black key finish on this product and I love it! The keys are very easy to see, you have to have the light on most of the time without they are a little hard to see but that doesnt bother me. The noise is loud if that would bother anyone (it doesnt bother me) and the spacebar does have a springy noise to it but that doesnt bug me. I love that all of the function keys work accordingly with my computer (sound up/down, music play/pause, etc.) you do have to get used to the font as it took me a bit to find where every key is. All in all I love this keyboard and its a great addition to my desk. super cute!

> 3 dayI am not a PC gamer so I do not know how compatible it would be with gaming. However, I am an office worker and spend a lot of time on my computer. It’s super pretty and does its purpose.

> 3 dayAs someone who writes a lot, I used keyboard shortcuts all the time for select all, copy an paste, and I was all set to write a review bemoaning that this keyboard did not allow for keyboard shortcuts. Then I examined my old keyboard (a simple HP got at a garage sale for $5 which lasted for years until my son spilled water on it and the keys started to stick) and a photo of a Mac keyboard and realized this keyboard only has a command key on the left hand side (WIN with a little lock symbol) whereas there is a command key on both sides of a mac and the old HP keyboard I was using with my mac. I always used the command key on the right hand side and could not figure out why keyboard shortcuts were not working on this keyboard! I felt pretty silly once I figured it out, but also thankful I wouldnt have to return this keyboard as I use shortcuts all the time. I only just got this keyboard last night, so I will update my review if things change, but these are my thoughts so far: Cons: 1. That there is only a command key on one side of the keyboard XD 2. There is no dedicated volume control button. I didnt realize how much I used that feature on my old keyboard until I went to turn down a very loud video and saw there was no volume control button. To change the volume you have to press the FN+(F2, F3, or F4 to lower, raise or mute the volume respectively.) I will have to see how much of a pain it is to get adapted to this. 3. Not all the multimedia keys work on mac. So the FN+F5 is stop and that does not work on iTunes or DVD player. Nor does FN+ (F1, F9, F10, F11, F12) which are (Multimedia, mail, web page/home page, my computer, and calculator respectively.) I think these commands are not compatible with Mac. But I probably wouldnt use these keys anyway, except the calculator key, so it doesnt bother me. 3. Not any quieter than my old standard keyboard. As this was one of the first ones to come up for quiet mac keyboards I expected it to be at least 50% quieter, but it is not at all. I wanted a quiet keyboard since I live on a converted school bus and often write while everyone is asleep. But my boyfriend says he cant hear me when Im typing at night, which means this keyboard will work okay for me, but maybe not for everybody. Like others have said, you can hear the spring in the spacebar key, but so far this doesnt bother me. 4. When I lifted up the keyboard to clean some dust behind it, I lost everything I had written--twice. So there must be some key that I accidentally slightly pressed that ended up resetting the page somehow? I lifted it up gently a few times making sure not to touch any keys, and this did not happen. So be careful when moving the keyboard. 5. Led lights only display rainbow, which I didnt realize when I bought it, so you cannot choose only one color or a rotation of colors like on other illuminated keyboards. But the rainbow is really pretty, so this isnt a big issue for me. The lights can also be dimmed or shut off if you prefer. There is also a breathing mode where the lights mimic a breathing ebb and flow...I found that distracting, but its a cool option if youre into that. Pros: 1. Its gorgeous! I love the metal and black which matches my iMac perfectly and the rainbow lights are so much fun! Probably the coolest keyboard I could ask for apart from one that looks like a typewriter, haha, but that one is on my future anachronistic goals list. ;) 2. They keys are really nice to use, have a good responsiveness (from a writers perspective on a brand-new keyboard--will update if this changes.) It has a good mechanical feel.

> 3 dayIt’s in no way quiet.. I actually find it a little difficult to type on. I feel like the keys are more raised than my previous keyboard. I do like the vibrant colors.. but I may return this. I’m just not fully loving it.

> 3 dayThis keyboard is pretty, I will give it that. But I bought it almost two months ago and it has totally stopped working. It is also very loud. Needless to say I will not be buying another one.

08-06-2025Delivery was faster than originally estimated which made it that much more exciting to receive. Directions and upkeep are easy to understand and small steps which I love lol. It has multiple functions and can be used for everyday typing or gaming. I wfh, so I will be using it everyday regularly. It was easy to set up. I literally unplugged my old keyboard and plugged this one in and immediately began using. No issues and no hassle to get started with it. The lights are bright and colorful, but again, they can be adjusted- by color and by brightness. The clicking sounds are soft-sounding, but for me, just enough clackity to get that productive and asmr feel going! The keys are a bit lifted which can take adjusting to if not used to higher up keys versus flat keys, but its not a complaint- just to give an awareness. Definitely would recommend purchasing for self or gifting for another!

> 3 daySince the majority of my junior year of college this year is from home and on Zoom, I really wanted an interesting/comfortable keyboard to work with. Im a graphic design major and do most of my work on my MacBook Pro on an elevated stand at my desk. I wasnt originally going to get an LED keyboard, but this one caught my eye with its great reviews, low price, and beautiful pictures. After receiving it, it is as pretty as the pictures show and I love it. The only compliant I have is, which I saw in other reviews and expected it, that the space bar sometimes makes a small squeaky noise. I say sometimes because Im typing this review with the keyboard and it occurs maybe 40% of the time since Im typing so fast. I also wouldnt say its the quietest keyboard, but I dont think its as noisy/loud as your standard keyboard.

> 3 dayI purchased this one over so many others because of the good reviews. And photos that people posted. I do no like the noise the space bar makes but I guess I will get used to it. Everything is well lit. Hope that this keyboard will last longer than my other gaming keyboard from another seller.
