> 3 dayThis is the first time that I have ever wrote a review on anything. And that says a lot! But I just have to say how much I absolutely love this keyboard! I am the type of person who loves bright colors, and this rainbow keyboard went perfect with my setup, my rainbow mouse, XL mousepad, LED light strip. And I truly think the metal backing makes it so much brighter. I originally purchased this in November 2020 and so far it’s holding up together nicely. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is the fact that lately the spacer bar sounds like a spring when you tap it and let it go. It can be distracting, at least to me.

> 3 dayStraight out of the box this keyboard looks impressive. The fact that it lights up is probably why most people will buy it, and that is indeed impressive in its own right, but even before it lights up it looks way cooler than any standard keyboard. The metallic backboard is really shiny and the key surfaces are soft to the touch with kind of a cool futuristic font, so even before you plug in the usb cord and see it light up its great. The main reason I was interested in this is because my current keyboard does not have any sort of backlighting, at all. I like to keep my living room relatively dim in the evening, just candles when possible, but I cant do that and type too. This keyboard solved that! Im currently sitting in the dark but now I have an awesome colorful backlit glow that allows me to type in here too! As Ive been using this over the last day or so, Ive noticed two things. 1. I wish I had this at my office, because my nails always make a loud click-clack sound on my keyboard and it drives my co-workers crazy, but this keyboard is a little softer to the touch and therefore much quieter to the ear, and 2. The space key has a couple springs in it, and you can hear the springs vibrate slightly right after you touch it, every time you touch it (which is way more than you realize, once you can hear it every time). Within a minute or two I forgot all about it, but it is loud enough to be noticeable until you get used to it. I think this would be an especially cool gift for anyone who uses their keyboard in the dark; it looks great, works great, and seems durable/well made.

03-06-2025I use it for my laptop and school and it sits in one spot-its failing. The USB plug has a short where it joins the wire and it has to be in the perfect position or it turns off. The laptop is new and nothing else has issues with this port. You get what you pay for but it sure is pretty!

> 3 dayQuiet keyboard that I bought for the office. Very bright and comfortable. It’s a plug in, so it’s responsive and not laggy. I just wish it had adjustable feet.

> 3 dayThis is a beautiful keyboard. This lights work fine and are very pretty. I dont game and I mostly got this to use for school. The only downsides are that the space button makes a little spring noise everytime you hit it, which is a little annoying but im sure ill get used to it or start typing in a way that lessens the noise. The other thing is that the whole keyboard is a little wobbly, the supports it sits on were offset. I imagine this could just be an issue with the one I recieved. I just used a stick notepad to balance it out and the problem is solved; just thought Id mention it. Besides those 2 things, Im very pleased with the keyboard!

> 3 dayThis keyboard is pretty, I will give it that. But I bought it almost two months ago and it has totally stopped working. It is also very loud. Needless to say I will not be buying another one.

> 3 dayReally pretty, love the backlight, and as someone who types constantly... the clicky clickies are super satisfying. I dont like the quiet keyboard situation, so if youre into super quiet keystrokes, I wouldnt get this. If youre looking for a deep clicking noise, then get this keyboard!

> 3 dayI wanted to like this keyboard, I really did. Its pretty, it looks great, its cool, it glows in the dark. But thats where the pros end. Where do I begin with the cons? For one, the keys sit way too high. I find that I have to arch my wrists back to accommodate the keys. My other option would be to lift my hand/wrist off the table instead of letting it sit comfortably on the table. Secondly, the spacing of the keys is pretty weird. Because of the way the keys sit, when I glide my fingers from key to key, it hits the sides of the keycaps, also due to their shape. That makes me type a lot slower to avoid this problem. Another super annoying problem I have with this keyboard is whenever I capitalise a letter during typing (using the shift key), it keeps not registering....I have a lower-case letter. Whenever I use the shift key, I need to keep it pressed longer in order for the command to be registered. I absolutely do not have that problem with my old keyboard. And lastly, because the keys sit higher, the outer edge of my hands keeps hitting the key to the right of the Fn key (for the right hand). My left hand also hits the Ctrl key for the left hand, but thats not too big of a problem since pressing that key on its own does nothing. I want to return the keyboard back to Amazon, but Ill admit Im lazy and dont want to have to take it to the post office. So now its just going to sit on a shelf until I give it away to someone who wants it. I currently have an Insignia brand basic, boring, bare-bones black keyboard. Its not even a main brand. I got it from Best Buy for literally $12. But its probably the best keyboard I have ever used. Expensive does not mean best, thats for sure, and cheap does not always mean low quality.
