Love this stand-up, oscillating fan! Its not the most powerful fan out there, but it does a good job moving the air around and keeping me cool. Practically silent, which is great. Remote is a nice touch. Keep in mind that it does not remember to oscillate after you turn it off, so you need to hit that button every time. Good product, great value.

A little noisy but great fan

A friend gave us his portable air conditioner, a top rated brand. Our house faces south on a hill with windows. We got immediate relief just having the fans placed facing us and noted cool air moving across room. This fan was purchased along with the tower model, so we use both in room when warmest outside.

The fan came packaged well. I would recommend you keep the box and the cardboard-fitted ends for storage when the fan is no longer needed. It was easy to put together, just make sure when you put the base together that the indent for the cable route is located _behind_ the fan, so the wire routes easily behind and neat rather than coming out through the front. Once you clip the two bases together, it has 3 easy hand-turn screws to secure it to the base. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). It has 3 speeds, an oscillate function, and a sleep timer. The remote can control all of these as well as buttons located on the fan itself. Its relatively quiet at 3 speeds, just not as quiet as some other fans Ive used, so if you need something whisper quiet this may not be for you, but I personally like the white noise aspect of it, though it is still relatively quiet for the wind output. As noted in the picture, I put the remote on top but thats actually a handle for carrying the fan around, but it works as a remote holder as well. Highly recommend this fan especially at this price point.

Compact design allows the fan to travel to different parts of the house. I like to caddy holder built into the fan for the remote. The wind force it generates is good. (TIP: start off on highest speed for 1-2 min, and then reduce down speed to lower settings if desired; if you start off on low or mid speed, fan will not give you the same wind force right away, but will build up to its setting). This is my second unit, the first one the settings were mixed up (3 low, 2 high, 1 mid) and returned, no issues with the new tower. Seems like there might be quality control issues with the programing given the settings work around and out-of-box issues I had, seem to be in the same vein (IMO). Remote: this is my only compliant, it doesn’t work consistently. Sometimes I have to push the desired buttons multiple times until it connects with the unit. Mostly happens with oscillating function when trying to get tower to stop at desired direction. Thought it was batteries and swapped out for fresh, but still same issue.

I really like that this fan has a remote. It’s powerful and helps to keep our bedroom cool a lot. However, I find I cannot use the oscillation feature at night because it makes this faint creaking noise whenever it switches direction. I’m very sensitive to noise when I’m falling asleep, and when it’s silent in the room, that freaking feels so loud it keeps me up at night. That’s my only complaint with this fan, but it is irritating to not be able to have the fan oscillate at night.

Lasted less than 2 years, and it was on for prob 12 hours a day. Pain in the butt to clean. The remote works fine, but its so small that it sort of was lost for most of its life. I mean, the fan was good enough that Im about to buy a second one, but I expected more for $60.

So I accidentally bought two of these and was going to return the other one since I’m an idiot who doesn’t look at her cart closely enough… But after I got this fan set up I realize that I definitely want to keep the other one for my living room. When I first turned it on I thought that I would have to return them both because the unit seemed so quiet and the breeze so weak. However that was not the case. It has a great airflow and reached all the way across the room. The oscillating feature is great. The temperature in my apartment is 76° yet it feels much cooler than that. This will definitely save me on my electricity bill since South Carolina summers can be absolutely brutal.

After reading the reviews on this fan and literally lmfao at the ones that said the fan doesnt cool at all. Its a FAN not an air conditioner. Its not noisy even on the highest speed. Timer is great. Remote is easy to use in the dark once you get used to where the right buttons are. Already bought 2 more.
