Got this for my son who is starting to get into soldering and has gotten a few kits which all came with instructions and things were labeled this is just a bunch of parts in a bag!

Ive put together many color oriented kits but this leaves them far behind! It took me about 10 min to assemble, I love that it uses a coin cell and manually mixing RGB via potentiometers is fun and educational!

I like the product. But after receiving it and using it I think it is way over priced. Im guessing this little assembly costs $5 to make. So to sell it for $16 is quite the markup. It is as advertised though, all the parts and pieces as expected.

This is a great little kit. My 12 year old built this no problem. Note that you have to provide your own solder and that the solder joints for the LED are very close together so watch for bridging. I recommend this for learning soldering or just a quick project for fun!

This was cute and fun and really helped me get over my fear of just getting into soldering! Quick and easy and the tutorial online is straightfoward and explains the components in a simplistic way. I feel confident after trying this one thing to pursue the projects I was meaning to work on, but I think I would probably get the other ones just to make fun little trinkets.

These kits are absolutely amazing and super easy for kids and adults alike to understand! My 7year old had a blast learning to solder and wants to buy a bunch more for her art project!

Bought this for my niece last year and she continues to use it - works well and is decent quality. Would recommend to novice or young person.

Great kit. This board provides for soldering practice at a few different difficulty levels. The resistors have ample space around them for easier access, while the potentiometers and LED require more careful, close-quarters soldering to secure each of their pins.

A very cool trinket on my desk! Rocket Department, hands down, makes the most aesthetically pleasing kits. Ive bought the Elenco soldering kits and they dont compare. Rockets departments attention to detail should be lauded. From the the design of the PCB to the packaging, everything looks carefully planned. The parts are organized in such a way that the focus is on the soldering and not reading intricate circuit diagrams. I highly recommend this project to anyone who feels like soldering is too hard to learn. Its well worth the money.

Ive been teaching myself to solder and I really felt like Id wasted money on a lot of previous learn-to-solder kits, but this one was great. The instructions were incredibly concise and it was a simple and sturdy enough circuit that I was eventually able to get it working perfectly even while making a few mistakes here and there. And, more importantly, the project left me feeling like Id made something cool, something that wasnt just going to sit around gathering dust (the colors are fun, and I keep it in my perpetually dark bathroom closet as a light.) Im really glad I did this, and am intrigued by the other Learn to Solder Kits.
