My little man loves his Legos!!!

My grandson loved it, started putting it together right away

This is the first set Ive built by myself in years. I usually wait for my daughter but she seemed to be losing interest last time. I assumed it was because we were building things that werent really her taste anymore. She seems to gravitate more towards architectural stuff and less towards veehicles so I figured what the heck, Ill build this one solo. Building is about medium level difficulty, the instructions are great but they do span 2 booklets for some reason. But whats more interesting is how much fun this one is to actually just play with. The articulating arm is really cool and actually does a good job of grabbing small stuff due to the rubber band. When my daughter came home and saw it she immediately said Oh cooooooool! and started playing with it. While a lot of the other sets just sit on a shelf, this one has been taken down several times now to be part of her play. Gunna have to look for more stuff like this.

I like the arm that can pick up things. I like the two people that come with it. Having an astronaut is so fun!

All the usual super high Lego quality youd expect, everything connects, all the pieces are there, very clear instructions, works with all the other Lego you have from the last few decades, so will probably work with something you buy next year. Reasonable price point compared to other boxes. Five stars are there is lots of play potential once youve built the thing. The rover on wheels of course, with a long robot reaching arm. The experiments. The idea that any other Lego youve got can be made into more experiments. And two space mini-figures. Well, thats where Id take off half a star if I could. Only one mini-figure is in a space-suit! What? Really? Yeah! Its a little odd once you notice it. Anyhoo, my boys are very happy playing away, so five stars it is.

We are big lovers of LEGO in our house, this is no exception. Fun to build and hours of fun to play with after.
