LEGO Disney Frozen II Arendelle Castle Village 41167 Toy Castle Building Set with Popular Frozen Characters for Imaginative Play (521 Pieces)

I have not seen my niece as happy when she was given this to play with. She had hours of fun and it is great.

So on the plus side, you get updated clothes on the Anna and Elsa mini dolls, and a Kristoff (not sure if hes ever been in a set before, we didnt have him). Id prefer these be regular lego style rather than in the Friends theme but thats true of almost all of the Princess sets. I dont think this build is as intricate or cool as the Frozen 1 themed castle that was just re-released but still pretty cool. Its also a little bit fragile. Builds used to be better with baseboards but I guess they were harder to display or something. It took me about an hour to build while my 4 year old played with the mini dolls and boat and stuff you build in the early steps. There are some cool things included, including a pretzel, and a bunch of stickered pieces. Like pretty much everyone else thinks, itd be better if the pieces just came printed instead of requiring stickering but so be it. Youre pretty much buying this for the updated dresses but your kids will have fun playing with it until they break it. :)

My six year old wanted her very own big girl lego set for christmas this year. She has put it together mostly by herself but watched over by an adult or her older sister. She has been able to do it. We just do a bag at a time (I think there are around 6) so we dont get overwhelmed. She loves it. And it is pretty when it is assembled and fun to play with.

Beautiful set with incredible details. I really appreciate LEGO marketing to girls. My daughter leaves her sets assembled and continues to play with them for such a long time (unlike my boys who end up breaking them apart), so the replay value here is huge.

Bought it for my friends kiddo as a Christmas present. She loved it.

This is the Frozen Lego set to get! My son and daughter both love Frozen, so of course Frozen Legos were a huge hit! The Arendelle Castle Village comes with the 3 main characters Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. The centerpiece of this the 3 level Arendelle Castle, which is essentially just 3 rooms one per floor. Its a modular build so you can remove the top stories easily without damaging the bottom of the castle. All of the furniture pieces can be rearranged- so its kind of like a dollhouse in how each child could set it up differently. The details are very impressive, the armoire opens to reveal dresses inside, the dove with birdhouse, and the chest with sword that goes inside to name a few. This set has a lot of small stickers- some are foil stickers so requires meticulous attention to detail or stickers will crease. Another tedious part was attaching the flowers on the front of the castle. Aside from the Castle the other builds are a fishing dock and a pastry stand. Both of those are small and easy to build. Lots of really cute Lego accessories in this set- bow for Annas hair, pumpkin, coin, cookie, apple, etc. I helped my 5 year old build this entire set and it took us over an hour. It comes with two instruction booklets- easy to follow, step-by-step directions. The nice part is once the set is constructed it can be played with like a dollhouse. Overall a fantastic Frozen Lego set!

Overall, this is a good to great set and it includes Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. The castle has mostly hard 90-degree edges, unlike the more impressive Elsas castle which my 2 daughters clearly preferred. Building it is fairly easy but I would have preferred if some of the pieces did not require stickers, but were more appropriately painted instead. For the 2019 Christmas season, I would also recommend looking at the Gingerbread House Lego Set, which, although about twenty Dollars more expensive, is considerably more creative in my opinion than this one.

My granddaughters love this castle. There are lots of pieces.
