> 24 hourI’m a transformer fan from way back and have loved Legos since the early 80’s. Put them together and what do you get? Me, very happy! This is a well designed and thoroughly enjoyable lego. I built it with my son and we had a blast. It’s sturdy, heavy and well thought out, all the way to the rubbery footpads to keep his legs from sliding out from under him. If you like transformers or if you like legos, or even better, if you like both, you have to give this a look. It took us about 3 hours to build.

> 24 hourThis is quite possibly my favorite LEGO kit ever! The scale and functionality is awesome. Ive had a couple issues with certain joints not holding together (I think they couldve come up with a stronger join for his waist, especially), but overall Im very pleased with this kit. Definitely worth it (and yes, he really transforms)! Oh, I also recommend leaving aside the single piece that holds his fingers together, so that they articulate individually.

> 24 hourMy wife got me this for my birthday and its great, Optimus is huge and the assembly is broken up into multiple small parts so you dont have to complete it all at once. Once assembled it seems like it would be very difficult to accidentally break pieces off through regular use unless you drop it so its safe to use as a high quality display piece without a lot of upkeep.
