This is quite possibly my favorite LEGO kit ever! The scale and functionality is awesome. Ive had a couple issues with certain joints not holding together (I think they couldve come up with a stronger join for his waist, especially), but overall Im very pleased with this kit. Definitely worth it (and yes, he really transforms)! Oh, I also recommend leaving aside the single piece that holds his fingers together, so that they articulate individually.

Was given to my teenage son for Christmas and he loves it! Hes normally team Minecraft, but thought this a super change of pace.

The Lego set is missing a piece

My 12 yr old grandson put this together in 2 hrs. Looks cool does transforms with ease. But for 1500 pieces this was too easy

This was a fun build for me mostly because I was an 80s kid. The Lego is more fragile than I like but over all it is a quality build. Much like the DeLorean from back to the future, this is a must have for a retro 80s collection.

I’m a transformer fan from way back and have loved Legos since the early 80’s. Put them together and what do you get? Me, very happy! This is a well designed and thoroughly enjoyable lego. I built it with my son and we had a blast. It’s sturdy, heavy and well thought out, all the way to the rubbery footpads to keep his legs from sliding out from under him. If you like transformers or if you like legos, or even better, if you like both, you have to give this a look. It took us about 3 hours to build.

He LOVED his bday gift. His smile said it all.

Such a great quality set! My 8 year old took 3 days and built it by himself. He loved it and is so proud that he did it!
