I bought this to use with G Suite and apparently when you use G Suite it disables almost all functionality. I have literally spent hours now on phone support with Google just to figure out how to get basic functionality. It took them over an hour just to figure out how I could enable Play Store and download the Calendar app. Now Im on hold again waiting for them to figure out why Assistant isnt working. I got this because it was supposed to be so simple and easy to use but its been the biggest nightmare of any computer I have ever owned. I am honestly shocked at what a disaster it has been trying to use a Chromebook with G Suite and I am very close to just closing my account and returning this Chromebook. This issues are specific to G Suite though and do not come up if youre using a regular Google account.

I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter. She is thrilled with it! It’s the perfect laptop for her school work and to play games on. I highly recommend it.

Not the right color, need white, black letters are easier to see.

The computer has less than 10 hours of use, and has been carefully stored and treated. When recently started, I found that the letters q, w, e, r, u, i, o, and p are not recognized by the computer. Only those eight letters are failed. This screws passwords which use one of the failed letters...even a factory reset is difficult as the letter r cannot be used. Incredibly frustrating and a waste of an otherwise suitable computer. I did effect a factory reset using the screen keyboard, but the physical keyboard problem continued. If others have had a similar problem, Id like to hear about it.

This Chromebook has been a pretty good purchase until now. Weve had it 5 months and realized the back of the screen is cracking. overtime the resistance of opening the Chromebook up and closing and opening and closing and opening it etc has caused the hard plastic to weaken and crack. Not sure how long it will be before it will mess up the screen itself. This was obviously a poor design issue not an issue with the Chromebook operational system.

Thought this was an out of the box ready to go item. Just enter Gmail account and go. But the Chrome OS is a little funky. Tried putting on Google Assist and small notification windows came up, but another window always came up on top, so you cant read what the heck the first notification is. Never could get Assist to run and the online instructions did not help at all. Im tech savvy, but gong to the dark side of the OS to get Canary and tweaking things is not easy functionality that was promised. Think Ill just get a google home hub. Sorry guys.
