This Chromebook would be ok for an 8 year old. I planned to use it as a backup for my business laptop. I do a lot of videoconferencing. The video is slow, out of sync and dark. I also wanted to use it to watch sports when the main tv was used by others. Grainy, blurry images and a waste. Dont bother. Stay away from Meditek in particular.

This is a beutifull touchscreen tablet laptop.small and easy to use.i use it only to study and i love it.when im not in the mood to stady in desk i lay down in my bed and study from there.

I wanted a light weight smaller laptop that would react quickly for emails and searches. This fits perfect by my recliner and easy to use. I find the touch screen is not as responding as my tablet, but does work. My touchpad does not react to my touch and I have to scribble with my finger to get control of the arrow. I hope this gets better as I get more use to this Lenovo chromebook. For the most part I am happy with my purchase.

Very upset. I just got this product delivered on August 8th to use for my last year of college, and today is August 25th...the day before classes start, and the computer just abruptly stopped working. It was working fine until this...even this morning it was working fine. Walked away from the computer for 10 minutes, came back and it was frozen. I shut the computer thinking that would help...nope now nothing shows up but a black screen. So mad. Now school starts tomorrow and I have no computer for school work.

Great little computer for the price. This model is slightly older than the newest, so it utilizes the Play Store. This is convenient for the most part, but I have run into a couple apps that dont run right. The good part about it using the Play Store is that I can still download the various Microsoft Office programs, rather than having to add them to the browser. It is very fast. A PC with 4gb ram is not going to move as quickly as this little guy. It responds as quickly when opening programs as my 8gb pc laptop. I love it because it is small and light. It fits right into any bags I bring with me to school. It also is a touchscreen and can be used as a tablet. It should be the only laptop I need for nursing school. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick little, extremely transportable, computer for browsing or homework.

A very light, beautiful white computer with a touch screen, what a nice surprise. So far, the fastest laptop I have used. Keyboard easy to use. I downloaded my Kindle app so I can read my books. I bought it for travel; it is very lightweight, and it will fit in a medium to large handbag. I highly recommend this one. L Cormier California
