    I was unable to find a usb-c hub for my Macbook Pro that offered four USB ports and an HDMI output that met my budget until finding this on Amazon. I have only been using it for a few days, but it is serving its purpose flawlessly so far. The hub feels solid and the cable seems well assembled.

    Purchased this after reading the reviews and to my surprise this thing actually works. This was my third HUB The first one was very flaky that I bought on ebay the second one was returned because it did not work out of the box (expensive one) This one worked like a charm with my HP x360 Spectre laptop including the pass through charging. Now I have an extra 3.1 Port available to me. Even My keyboard and wireless mouse work a lot better no more skipping and other issues.

    I use this plugged into a Surface Dock 2, the live USB C port is really handy for both data transfers and powering/charging devices. I do wish that at least one of the USB 3.1 one ports was live for powering/charging devices, as well as data transfer. But all in all very handy device.

    Worked well for two weeks, after that only the HDMI was working, but the USB didnt recognize any device. I contacted customer support and they were able to help even when the return deadline had already passed. The customer suppor was very quick and supportive. At this point, there is no issue with my port.

Please Note:

  • The video output needs your device’s type c port support DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3. Please make sure whether your device supports it or not.
  • The Max resolutions and refresh rates output of the adapter are entirely dependent on the USB-C host devices, connected cable, and display specifications.
  • To manually adjust the resolution for your Mac OS, hold down the “option” key and then click “Scaled”.
  • To manually adjust the resolution for your Window OS, go to "Windows Setting" - "System" - "Display".
  • If you want to play audio via the external HDMI device, please change the "the default audio output device" setting in the system preference.
  • Not compatible with Apple Superdrive.
