These small LED light bulbs work great. I have an older Amana refrigerator/freezer. Both bulbs went out in recently. I originally put incandescent bulbs like the originals but then swapped them out for these. These bulbs are cool morning daylight bulbs. They are much brighter than the OEM variety and let you see colors and labels much more accurately. Other than the light, I really noticed the difference in heat from the bulbs. The LEDs are practically cold for the duration that the doors are open. The old style bulbs radiate heat which can be felt from inches away. I know the doors are only open for short periods and I imagine the heat from the old bulbs actually wastes more energy warming up the freezer compartment for a couple minutes after the door is closed. Still, every little bit helps and the extra brightness really helps you see items in the fridge. These bulbs are great value and work really well. They make an old fridge feel newer. I recommend them.

I am expecting the bulb to last forever. Only 40 watt equivalent, but plenty bright in the refrigerator!
