> 24 hourI read the reviews but prayed that mine wouldnt leak. It did. I ended up spraying flex spray (or something like that) all around the base of the water container. Of course it clouded up the bottom but it fixed the leaking. I only use it for my plants so I dont mind the container not being smooth. Its very quiet and I use distilled water, a bacteria liquid and have had no problems.

> 24 hourI was looking for a humidifier for our bedroom and initially bought a Vornado model. It definitely performed the job, but BOY was it noisy. Not just the distinct continuous whirring of the humidifier, but a periodic GLUG-GLUG-GLUG ever 30mins or so. Really not suitable for a bedroom. So I went to NYT Wirecutter and looked at their recommendations, settling for this Levoit. Night and day difference! Here is how it is better than the Vornado: * in automatic sleep mode, its so close to silent that it doesnt matter. It delivers humidity easily well enough to be on the other side of the room and I can just barely hear when it is operating, really just the sound of steam escaping. No whirring, clunking or gurgling whatsoever. * thank heavens! a sleep mode where all the lights and displays are 100% turned off. I dont need a light display in my room at night, thanks * top-filling reservoir. The Vornado needed you to remove the reservoir and fill it upside down. This leads to the worrying situation where if you knock the device or mishandle it at all, it might dump the entire contents of the reservoir instantly onto the floor. This is dumb. Its also the reason that the Levoit doesnt glug-glug-glug. * the app is pretty good. Some have complained that it spams you with emails and stuff - it does by default, but you can switch all that off. The app itself makes it easy to set up a schedule where it automatically comes on at - say - 7pm, and switches itself off at 6am, constantly monitoring the humidity and keeping it at 55%, with all the lights stay off all the time. The Vornado could not do this (or I couldnt figure out how to) My only complaint is that although it keeps bugging me to clean it (probably a good idea) its not really clear what an acceptable amount of cleaning is, it just tells you to disassemble it. Otherwise, its an impressively designed and functional piece of equipment. (full disclosure, I used to be a product designer, so I respect the thought and care that went into this device - the team should feel proud or themselves!)

> 24 hourReally like this humidifier, however it is much easier to use from the app than using it directly from the control panel on the actual humidifier itself - which can be an issue when a caretaker is home with baby and not able to easily access the app. The reason I mention this, you cannot put the humidifier into sleep mode on any other function other than auto and the only way to turn off the display with it in a different mode is through the app. Only drawback to this humidifier thus far.

> 24 hourThe app works but is a little hard use. But the humidifier works when youre in the same house. Fill and turn on. Pretty easy.

> 24 hourThis thing can crank out the moisture if you need it or just keep you at a steady range works very well in my room and don’t need to refill until 3-4 days from half. Easy instructions and lots of cautions on where to pour your water also a good idea to use distilled water to keep it working for a long time due to the absence of minerals accumulating

> 24 hourThe product seems well made. It is easy to set up and operate also. The app is great too. Gives you more options actually. Also it uses WIFI and not bluetooth and that means you can change settings from any location you might be at. In other words if I was at work I can turn it on or off and use all the settings that it offers. The part that worried me is you can’t just leave water in it for a couple days sitting. I know that’s the sane with any humidifier because of bacteria or mold possibly developing. So unless your room is really low in humidity. (Under 30%), don’t fill it up your first time using it. It can hold about 1.5 gallons filled. Try a gallon or maybe slightly less. Experiment at first because the size of the room and other factors play a huge part on getting your desired results. Make sure you clean it even more often than once a week. Better safe than sorry. You can also get an additional year of warranty coverage by registering your product using the app you can use to control it. Don’t forget to do that because you only have 16 days from purchase date. Overall so far I like the product and the company gives plenty of info. Both in the box or on the internet. Make sure you purchase a hydrometer to keep in the room to measure your true humidity level in the room. I bought an Acurite for $16. Tells room temo and humidity level. So far everything is testing within 2% of the reading. I would buy this product again. But there are other good choices too. The app is what makes this device worth the price.

> 24 hourGreat sized humidifier, during winter almost lasted a whole week before needing to be refilled at 50% humidity. App is easy and setting up night time routine to turn on was easy.

> 24 hourI bought this product to control the humidity in my bedroom in order to help me breath at nights and reduce my dry skin issue especially in the winter. I must say it’s a great product to have with all its smart features, I set mine on a schedule to turn on at 8pm and shut off at 8AM which works great. So far I love it and have no major issues with it, only that I cannot smell the aroma when using the aroma pad. I believe it doesn’t spread the scents around the room I can only smell the essential oil at the back of the humidifier where the aroma pad is located. That’s the only issue I have with it but I still think it’s a great product and I will keep it.

> 24 hourI like everything about this product - it works very well, is whisper quiet and easy to control. However, after we used it the first night, there was a white film over EVERYTHING in our large bedroom. Furniture, ceiling fan, recliner, you name it. And it felt a little bit sticky, perhaps from using the diffuser aroma oil that came with it. My wife was not at all happy about it. So in the Q&A, Levoit said if you have minerals in your water, you may get some white residue. Understatement of the year. This product is unusable with San Antonio tap water. Using distilled water would get very expensive. This was probably not a good purchase.

> 24 hourThis is a 10! Its a no-noise effortless product. I love the app that allows you to schedule on/off times. We have it in our daughters room and it is scheduled to go on ten minutes before coming home from school and go off ten minutes after she leaves for school. It has an optional night light that you can schedule to go on and off and even the display can be scheduled to go on/off without the unit shutting off. My daughter said the display was too bright for her room so we have the unit scheduled to go on showing the display and at 10:15pm, the display goes off but the unit continues to run. Everything can be controlled by the app. The bonus feature is that it allows for essential oil to be added to a filter. Considering it runs for 14 hours straight, I only have to refill it every other day with a humidity setting at 55%. Not bad.
