Love this humidifer. Just dont make the same mistake I did by using Tap Water. Only use Distilled Water. Tap Water will create White Dust / a Faint Fog in the room due to the minerals in tap water that will literally soak the the entire room in a white chalky powder that will need to be wiped down constantly. Ill probably at some point need to buy a Distilled Water Generator to save money on Store Bought Distilled Water. App is easy to use. And highly reccomend just using Auto Mode. Sensor can be sensitive so find thresholds that work for your room. If Target Humidity can never be met, Humidifer will never turn off during Auto Mode to save water. Try lowering Humidity Levels. Fans and Open Windows greatly affect humidity levels so find thresholds that work in tandem with those variables if you have any. Humidifer is very quiet and you can barely hear it. I have it on my nightstand next to my bed and is not an issue.

The app to operate this humidifier is balky and not fully vetted IMO. I now only use the App to turn the humidifier on or off. Scheduling is available but did not work well for me.

Youll definitely need to filter your water at worst or distill it at best before you use it in this humidifier. All of the minerals in the water you use end up in the air (par for the course for ultrasonics) while this thing is running. Without filtering, Im measuring PM2.5 and PM10 levels up in the upper 100s. Thats like theres a wildfire 20 miles away pollution. After I filter it through a basic Brita-style filter, theyre back around 30-50 with the door open and 80-100 after several hours of the door being closed. Thats like stagnant air in the valley today pollution. And then of course they fall back down to 5-10 when the thing isnt running (normal day outside). The smart feature is useful, but still a little dumb. Its hygrometer is in its base, so its measuring humidity directly around itself. Its usually reading a relative humidity 3-4 points higher than hygrometers I have in other parts of my room (its a kid-bedroom-sized guitar room). The smartness is that you set a target humidity and the machine lets humidity around it fluctuate within 5 points of that target. So, I set the target to 45%. Over the course of a day, the thing turns on until humidity hits 50%. Then it turns off until humidity falls to 40%. Then the cycle repeats. Useful that it does keep your room in the ballpark you want. But 10 points is a wide margin. It means that my guitars on the wall are sometimes seeing 53-55% or 35-40%. It would be extremely useful to set a narrower band around the target value (say 2 points, so 43%-47%). That would give me better control over the parts of the room where humidity actually matters. Cleaning is also something of a hassle. Recommended to rinse it out every three days to avoid bacteria and mold buildup. That means unplugging the base and sort of awkwardly splashing water into it while avoiding the plug and electronics. Very quiet. A very faint hum and then some ASMR-style dripping is what you get while its running. Thats great.

I read the reviews but prayed that mine wouldnt leak. It did. I ended up spraying flex spray (or something like that) all around the base of the water container. Of course it clouded up the bottom but it fixed the leaking. I only use it for my plants so I dont mind the container not being smooth. Its very quiet and I use distilled water, a bacteria liquid and have had no problems.

This initially seemed like a fantastic product at a great price. Noise level was exceedingly low, almost non existent, stream of cool air was robust and this has the largest tank capacity I have seen. But then it started leaking at the base, really unsure why this even started. This product got fantastic reviews and I have been through my share of experience utilizing different humidifiers over the years. This product quickly went from probably a 5 to a 3 and it only got a 3 because when it worked and did not leak all over my furniture and floor, it worked very well. I guess it’s onward and upward to find another great product that is hopefully leak proof.

This humidifier has a quiet sleep mode, so you can leave it running all night without it disturbing your slumber. In fact, I find the white noise it produces to be quite soothing. This humidifier has definitely helped our sleeping in the dry desert climate!

If you are a busy person, this humidifier is not for you. At first the weekly cleaning schedule was okay. Then we got sick and then went on a trip, then life just took over. The machine is not easy to clean one the bacteria or mold gets in. The pieces require you to have tiny cleaning instruments or mine pressure washer. I through ours out after three deep cleans and still having mold issues. Its easy to set-up and use but cleaning (if you miss a few) then becomes a nightmare.

The humidifiers largest tank insurers that i do not have to fill it more than once every four days Which is helpeful for someone like me who forgetful. I like how you can control my only the output but the lighting. My only and biggest Complaint is that this thing grows mold in the base. The mold grows quickly and the base itself is hard to clean. So ive never sure that I have gotten all of the mold out.
