> 3 dayIt is quiet enough the fan noise is not noticeable even within few feet of my head. The picture quality is good, but it is not a true 4K. Read the PDF manual which is linked from the web page. I purchased this to use as a PC monitor and needed full resolution, but it turns out the resolution has to be reduced for the best quality. The user interface is easy to use. It has a built-in TV turner which I dont see much use as most people probably use a separate streaming or cable box. The picture is not that bright and cannot be used in daylight. The room does not have to be dark, but it needs a dim room. It can be placed on a table, but ceiling mounting is the best to keep it out of the way. It needs to be horizontally centered at the lens (not the body) for the best focus because it only has vertical adjustment. This was a good starting projector at a reasonable price. I would go for the laser one the next time if I can afford it so that it can be used in daylight.

> 3 dayOriginally I rated this a 3 star projector. But, the execution here is truly phenomenal. The complete package comes in at one extra star. And, Ive updated my prior review. After even more testing I found that the black levels are... acceptable. It has good traits. It has bad traits. The good do outweigh the bad. In short: if you intend to replace a TV with this projector, then by all means pick it up. I was sporting a 10ft screen (120 diagonal) and at first glance, with some ambient light, I was very impressed. The color is truly excellent, as others have noted. It is so excellent it shines in bright ambient light, catching the eye and filling in the image. The color is what makes this LED projector shine (pun intended). It is lovely. The problems begin when you lower the lights for a bit more clarity because... well, there isnt any. The exact same image you saw with ambient light? Thats nearly what you are getting when the lights are low. There isnt any extra dark hiding in the shadows. Its going to be good color and only acceptable dark forever. In its favor this projector sports 30,000 hours of lamp life. This is near-TV levels of lifespan for the light source, normally the trouble area for projectors. It touts being rainbow-effect free, though I oddly thought I caught some here or there. Did I mention it has magnificent color? It has LGs WebOS built in and can capably stream many, many wonderful apps in full 4k (not Disney+ or Hulu at this time). It is light. It is svelt. It has the back-lit magic remote. But, it has poor, poor black levels, requiring you to wash out the picture to bring them up in HDR (far better performance in SDR). It has decent, but not great, input lag for gaming (40+ ms for 4k, 50+ ms in SD). It isnt the greatest optically (mine had minor focus uniformity issues). It isnt truly all that bright, despite the incredible color brightness. Strangely, that will affect you more in the dark, it seemed to me, than in the daylight. Also, the brightness is more an issue with the desired size of my screen (120). At a smaller size the brightness may be far more tolerable. Like I said, it has good and bad traits. This projector is good. I preach the black levels, especially with HDR content. But, it is by no means the worst projector I have ever used. 4 stars,

> 3 dayGreat picture. Love the smart projector capabilities. Throw distance is not far so you need to keep the projector within about 12 ft of the screen. So if youre planning on putting this in the back of the room it might not zoom close enough for you.

> 3 dayPros: pixel shift 4K great color management options pretty quiet great remote built in tv turner great colors but could be brighter unit size - easy to move around rooms Cons: brightness is rated as 1500 ANSI Lumens, after calibration this drops too much, so you’ll lose brightness overall no lens shift just optical zoom so can’t place it just anywhere, no digital zoom nor 4D keystone, just horizontal tvOS is terrible, apps supported on 2019 LG TVs are not available on this 2019 LG projector (stuff you won’t get: Hulu, hbo max, paramount plus, peacock, etc. You do get Netflix and Prime video preinstalled though. Blacks are washed out grey and could be better with better contrast Motion - gosh! This is so so bad that regular content becomes unwatchable, a simple panning or tilting shot is a juddering mess with much cheaper projectors handling motion much much better (the main reason I’m returning after the fact that the product went on an additional 200 off a few days after I bought it.) Sound - not a con as this is in no shape of form to be used with its internal speakers as your main audio

> 3 dayThis is my first projector. It looks really damn good. But I find myself comparing it to my Samsung 8QF, which isnt fair. The TV is way brighter than this projector: which is its only flaw imo. If it was a bit brighter, it would be the perfect projector. Besides the cons, I would still highly recommend this projector. Pros: -color is outstanding! Super vivid. -easy to setup -Smart function & LG remote. Makes streaming so easy. -fairly sharp. Actually, really sharp for a budget projector. Con: -needs a dark room for viewing. If you have your theater in a dark room or basement like me, its not an issue. -contrast: watching dark movies such as horror films, things tend to get lost. But dont get me wrong, its not awful, its just not perfect.

> 3 dayGreat value buy for a projector! Colors are amazing in HDR, truly unreal. At night movies look incredible. Sometimes looks better than a TV. I’m projecting a 135” on a screen and couldn’t be happier. The only negative is during the day if you have natural light with windows nearby the image can look washed. This is normal with projectors and no different here. Projector gives most bang for your buck!

Greater than one weekVery satisfy with LG 4K projector. 1500 L of this one is much brighter compared to Chinese “7300L” one. The audio connecting to surround sound system is much crystal clear. I am happy to find correct LG 4K projector that I paid only around $1500.00. I love LG products.

> 3 dayIm very satisfied with this projector. I had originally bought an Optima for around the same price range that didnt impress me at all so I returned it and bought this LG. It has a really great picture even with our lights on. I love the LG software that makes navigating in the system smooth and also the remote that it comes with is pretty awesome. The only negative I can think of is dark scenes are hard to see sometimes when we have our lights on but thats nothing to complain about since most projectors need it to be dark for a good picture.

> 3 dayPros: - Great color contrast and black levels when paired with a Cinegrey screen (also worked great during the day in low ambient light room for me) p.s pictures attached don’t do it justice since Amazon compresses the photos and makes them look blurry/a little discolored - Low Price relative to other premium projectors - I was able to throw at least 110” screen from about 10 feet and can likely go a bit bigger -LG UI makes it feel like using a smart TV - Back lit remote is the best! - Gaming worked great for me for non competitive games as i did not notice an input lag that was distracting or any really although I know LG claims around 50-60 milliseconds (haven’t tested out with COD or other competitive games yet) Cons: - No Horizontal/Vertical lens shift (wasn’t as much of an issue for me but i had to take a lot of time doing measurements and lining it up perfectly) - No Horizontal Keystone (only vertical and even that one is lackluster) -No HBO MAX with LG UI as of this review. Had to use Xbox to play it smh Overall, I’m glad I got it and was significantly cheaper than the Epsons i was looking at potentially getting.
