Greater than one weekFinally found a projector to stick with. Ive gone through Optoma (2017 + 2019 models) and a couple of recent BenQ models (all <$2k) and I just wasnt ultimately satisfied with any of them. Along comes the LG HU70LA and it appeared to tick most of the boxes and voila, it did. Couple of things that other reviewers seem to overlook. Coming from bulb-based projectors, this LG really kills it with a near instant-on feature. Its the closest thing to a TV experience Ive had in the five or so projectors Ive owned. You dont realize how great a feature that is until you experience it. The second thing is this omits MUCH LESS heat than the bulb-based projectors did. I have my projector placed right behind my seating, near head level, and with the previous projectors omitting a crazy amount of heat, it was almost unbearable to use in our cinema room during summer nights and that is with the central A/C running! While this LG still has a fair amount of heat it isnt nearly as bad. I bought the tiniest external fan (used for babies on strollers) and have that running and it helps disperse the heat stream away from the seating. I route this LG through a proper AV Receiver and have all the goodies connected to it (4K Apple TV, Oppo UHD Player, PS5 + Xbox Series X) and they all look stunning in my set-up. The room is fully light-controlled so didnt see the need to splurge on a pricey ALR screen. Spent $250 on a fixed, white one and am completely satisfied.

> 3 dayThe projector kept shutting itself off and would not work properly so we had to return it. The shipping packaging was very flimsy, it was not properly protected. The product box should have been shipped inside a brown amazon box, but it was shipped in the product box only. Not good.

Greater than one weekI have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. Unboxing it was a breeze and made my day that much easier. Probably my favorite thing about this projector is that it is Bluetooth enabled so I dont have to have a thousand cords running to the projector or have my media center anywhere close to it honestly. I have the power cord and one hdmi cord ran to it and everything else is bluetooth for us. One thing that I wish was an option on this projector was Hulu streaming services. While searching the store for it, its not listed anywhere to be able to add it to this projectors apps . I dont have cable and use only streaming services so that is a downfall for me. I have my projector hooked up to a surround sound receiver which sounds amazing. If it wasnt hooked up to it, I use just the speakers in the projector itself which are of great quality. Very loud and good sound. It doesnt get distorted at all when at maximum volume. The picture quality is breathtaking. The remote is really responsive so long as you are pointing in the direction of the projector itself. There are 2 viewing lenses for it and without the remote being able to see those, it goes a little wonky. The cursor on it is very responsive. I love it. Overall its a 10/10 rating from my family .

> 3 dayPlaced the projector in the dedicated movie room. I can control the light in the room very well and the brightness is perfect for that environment. If you wanted to place this in a living room or in a room that has more light it may not work since the brightness is not the best. The picture quality is great and the user interface as well as the menu is very easy to use and the projector was basically set up ready to go immediately. Overall its a great deal for what you get in my opinion.

> 3 dayScreen size gets bigger than HU60LA (full-hd) from the same distance. Subtitles are in smaller fonts which is also nice. Definite upgrade also for living room.
