WOW. Bought as a replacement for my Rosewill case to add more fans. You can fit two Noctua 140mm fans up top or an AIO as well as two Noctua 140mm fans in front. A Noctua 120mm fan for the rear fits like it was laser cut for my mobo. The cable management is easy and abundant. There are no rubber or plastic grommets, just folded over metal lips that are safe for even small, unprotected wires like my CPU cooler fan cable. There are magnetic mesh filters for the front and top fans. I will be purchasing from Lian Li again if I ever see a need to get another case. Cons: The two fans that come complimentary with the case burn out in a month. Dont bother attempting to use them like I did.

Ive always had Lian li cases, my first and second builds where in them. This is a very good budget case that will continue to look good for some time into the future. Its monolithic, spacious enough, and the build quality is superb. Only complaint is how it uses plastic pin connectors for the front panel connection to the case. I can see those breaking easily or overtime degrading.

I like the simple design of this case. Instructions/ manual is a bit lacking in cretin areas you sometimes have to look at what screws do what because the manual can be a bit vague. Careful if you are doing a vertical gpu with a full length card it can be a bit tight xD. Keep in mid as it is a little deceiving on the length of the case. Its taller then it is long, surprised me a little bit but i still love it. Tips: You may have to slide the hdd cage towards the front more then when it arrives if you have a longer PSU. if you have hdds you might have to mount them towards the glass unless you have some 90* sata cables. Keep you cables managed in the back there is JUST enough room to route cables (reason for 90* sata)^

I used this case for a recent gaming build for a friend. It looks really great with the glass side panel and installation was without issues. I will say that my older Lian Li cases are much nicer being that they used to make them from 100% Au. Now they have stamped steel in there but its a sign of the times I suppose. Still, I would buy this again.

Absolutely beautiful style, well made, and easy to work with. Cable management ports are well thought out and work perfectly with my Corsair CX750F power supply. Mounting an ASUS PRIME X570-PRO was effortless; pre-mounted stand offs align precisely with the motherboard mounting holes. My EVGA GTX 1080 graphics card slotted in easily without any alignment issues. I did not install any drives, Im only using NVMe drives on the motherboard, but the SSD mounts are well placed on the rear of the motherboard mounting plate. There is plenty of space for the thick ATX power cables to rest inside with the side cover attached. Clever mounting design for the side cover which holds it down and prevents it from bowing out due to pressure from the ATX cables. You expect this quality from Lian Li and they deliver.

I love the case however it seeks to have issue with a big scratch on the back and the upper front intake fan not spinning, besides this the RGB on the fan looks lovely when spinning with the mesh front!

New build for my daughter. Previously used a lancool II for my own build and was impressed with the quality. This did not disappoint. Quality was great and building was above average. Only issues were with standoffs having to be moved which is no big deal. Had plenty of room for gpu which always seems to be a problem with this size of case. The price is also a factor to consider. You get a lot for your money with Liam Li cases so dont hesitate.

Best looking case I could fine for my price range. It feels high quality and looks super sleek. The magnetic dust filter on top is super easy to clean. The case was the perfect size as well.

Coming from a bad experience with an H510 Standard (overly tightened screws that all stripped, horrific thermals resulting in fans spinning up to max speeds, awful side panel thumbscrews, a USB 3.0 Header that was designed in a way that it could break off INSIDE your motherboard), the LANCOOL 205 is a breath of fresh air (quite literally for my PC). First off it shares a similar design aesthetic, tempered glass side panel, minimalist interior and exterior design, and a bar for cable management. The first thing to note in comparison to the H510, the LANCOOL 205 features much more airflow, with vents on both sides of the front panel, which is also removable instead of being part of the main chassis. The front and top ventilation feature magnetic dust filters and easily removable brackets (no thumbscrews, but with sliding pegs and can optionally be firmly secured with externally threaded screws) that support dual 120/140mm fans. The side panels do not feature the questionable design choice to place the side panels mounting holes spaced out from the main chassis (which on the H510, forces you to MANUALLY line up the thumbscrews because for whatever reason, theyre not secured perfectly straight on the side panels which allows them to spindle inside their mounting holes, and if you completely un-thread the thumbscrews, their purpose as thumbscrews becomes moot, as they cannot be re-threaded by hand), and standard sized thumbscrews that function as thumbscrews. The panel for the PSU bay can also be removed just in case you need the extra space to manage your PSUs cables and the hard drive bay. The hard drive bay is secured in place by thumbscrews on a sliding rail and can be adjusted to account for your PSU, and the back panel features ample space for cable management as well. Cable routing is also very easy due to the space provided in the interior, especially when plugging in the CPU power cable. Finally, the front I/O features 2 USB 3.0, separate microphone and audio jacks, and a power LED that doesnt flash like a strobe light, and while it lacks a front USB Type-C connector featured on the H-series cases (which was not supported by a B450 motherboard), a Type-C connector, if it matters that much to you, can be added through a PCI-E card or a motherboard that contains it on its back I/O. All in all, the LANCOOL 205 was easy to work in and build in, features the same aesthetics of the H-series cases without the hassle, and has a front I/O that works and doesnt constantly flash in the corner of your eye, I can highly recommend this case.

So overall, this case is a pretty good one, and a pretty good upgrade from my H510 Elite Case. Here are some of the benefits of 205 Mesh. Pros: -A good amount of usb 3.0 and usb c ports in the front (an upgrade from my previous case) - Allows for good airflow, depending on how many fans you have installed - Although I changed the fans, they did come with a rgb controller and actually looks pretty good - A good amount of room for a large two fan gpu to fit - Also has a good amount of space in the back to add up a bunch of ssds and hdds Cons: - One if the major cons that really pissed me off (and almost made me return the case) was the radiator clearance. On the site, Amazon listing, and manual, it says that for aio radiator 280mm can fit to the front of the case. I’m telling you this right now it doesn’t. I had to change the orientation of my aio, which wouldn’t haven been bad if even at the top of the case my aio would barely fit. I have a b450 thomahwak max and a 280mm kraken cooler. There is literally no space up there and I had to maneuver it in a way where it could fit. Luckily it did, although I’m not sure for 240mm aios, I think you guys will face the same situation but have a better outcome. Other than the cooler situation, this case was pretty easy to build in. And deserves 4 stars. Warnings: -If you have a 3 fan gpu do not buy this case it will not fit -If you have a 280mm cooler, the only way you can orient the cooler in a functional way would be ontop.
