I think it says something when youve purchased a product, gave it away, and then purchased it again later on. I had the charcoal one before, and it served me well; can store all of my travel art supplies in it. Over the months the only sign of wear was graphite smeared along the inside (my fault; I tend to use very soft art pencils and I did not know that my rotary lead pointer leaked graphite shavings) and some slight fuzziness on the outside where the fabric was worn. My second case is this current brown one. It has been about a year since my last case, and the only possible production difference is that I dont remember my older one having a cardboard backing in the middle divider; this newer one does. Otherwise, it is still just as solidly constructed as before. Cant see any open seams everywhere, and the teffa fabric feels like I could run it over with my Honda several dozen times and itll still be intact. Wont test it out, though, since that wastes gas. ;) I had used a Kokuyo Neocritz Transformer pencil case before, which is also fantastic. However, the issue is that the number of art supplies I wanted to carry around grew way too fast, and I also wanted it to hold some wireless earbuds. Lihit Lab makes pencil cases that wont take up too much bulk but still efficiently organizes ALL THE THINGS. Also, I read that some people are turned off by the post-production smell; I did not notice anything of the sort. Perhaps if I pressed my case straight into my nostrils and took a good, deep whiff I might feel something, but unless youre hyper-sensitive to smells, I doubt youll notice anything, unless it was defective.

I am a student going into her junior year of high school. Before this case arrived, I used an old makeup case of my mothers as a pencil case which I loved due to its ability to hold a ton of supplies in its various pockets while still being small enough to fit into my backpack. Needless to say, I was a little wary of buying a new case. However, this case has so many positives, it was hard not to love it even more than my old one. ---Pros--- -Space: This pencil case is able to hold about 10 medium sized pens in the first compartment, but could hold up to 16 if you put more upside down in between the others. The flipping part of the case holds about 12 medium sized pens (I put markers in it) and can hold other objects in the bottom pouch if necessary. The other side of the flipping part holds small items and can easily fit erasers, USB drives, pencil lead, bookmarks, or even earbuds. The last compartment could easily hold an additional 8-10 pens or 2 pairs of medium sized scissors. Mine has a pair of small adult scissors, a bookmark, index cards, and other items that I didnt expect to fit in the case at all. -Size: The pencil case folds up very nicely and is no larger than a small picture frame. It easily fits in any size backpack. -Pocket Variety: I never expected to be able to carry my wallet around in the pencil case, but the variety of pockets makes it possible. There are even pockets on the outside of the pencil case that can fit erasers, notes, Post-Its, or a pack of gum. -Price: The price is unbeatable. No question there. End of story. Cons: -Colour: This is only a con because I couldnt find any others. I wish this pencil case came in a larger variety of vibrant colours rather than just the basics, but the green I received is exactly as pictured and is still very pretty.

1st of all LIHIT LAB makes very nice quality products. I have ordered some in the past from Japan and am very happy that many items are available for quick shipping from Amazon. I was looking for a good compact case for carrying my drawing supplies for when I travel and the triple zipper offering did not disappoint. I was able to cram various Micron pens, mechanical pencils, leads, a battery eraser, a watercolor palette, watercolor brushes, spare leads, a ruler, protractor, proportional scale divider, fibonacci gauge, scissors, tombow knock erasers, fountain pens, and spare ink... This thing is huge yet very compact, smart and organizes everything so well. Also the separated zippered chambers really help to further organize your supplies in a neat portable chubby carry all. Smaller ziplocked plastic baggies can further aid in organizing your supplies and work well with this case. This is a sturdy quality canvas case made with precision detail and beyong impressed me when it arrived. I absolutely love it, a full 10/10.

This is a fantastic case all around. Whether youre using it for drawing, school, or another hobby, it will fit most, if not all, of your needs. When you open up the case you are greeted by a folio of sorts with a few spots that are intended for pencils/pens, as well as a few mesh pouches for smaller items, or even more tools if youre like me. I use this case to hold all of my illustration tools. This case is able to hold two sets of illustration markers (one set contains seven, and another contains five), a complete set of sketching pencils from 6B to 4H, a couple woodless graphite pencils, two click erasers, a plastic eraser, a kneaded eraser, a 6 ruler, and 4 charcoal pencils. Seems like a lot, but theres still room for more! A few minor complaints I have, but they are just nit-picky, are I feel the straps in the front of the case are a little too loose (I am aware they need to be to remove things from them, but my OCD rears its head when my pencils are out of order), and I wish that the case was a tad thicker to hold a pencil sharpener other than the little blocks you hold between your fingers (Again, something I couldve done a little more research on). Minor complaints aside, I am extremely happy with this case and would recommend it for anyone into sketching, illustration, or just to hold a few things for school even.

The LIHIT LAB. Double Zipper Pen Case, 7.9 x 2.8 x 4.7 inches, Coral is undoubtedly the best one I’ve used yet. I use it everyday in school and find that it is the type of pencil case that best suits my needs as a student. Before this pencil case, all other pencil cases I used were just big bags with one or two pockets. I found that my things were very disorganized and my pencils smeared lead all over my other supplies, making them dirty and quite frankly, disgusting. With this pencil case, there are two compartments and pockets for everything. No supplies will have to just fall free in a large bag. All of my supplies can be organized (I can keep my pens, pencils, highlighters, and color pencils all separate) I also found that in the past, I had to disperse everything I needed in a large pencil case and a smaller pouch but now everything I need (including a large graphing calculator, 5 pencils, 12 color pencils, 6 highlighters, 8 pens, a ruler, a protractor and 2 erasers) fits into one compact and easily transportable case. The only complaint I have is that care instructions were not included. After my pencil case got a little dirty on the outside from school, I wanted to wash it but was unsure if it was washing machine safe. I decided to test it and put in the machine and dryer and it came out clean and in perfect shape. Overall, Im very happy with this purchase (though a little expensive) and it remains in good shape to date.

I LOVE this pen case. It holds so much. I am ready for any situation that needs a writing implement - as long as I have my case. haha. I carry it with me 95% of the time though in my backpack or a tote bag and bring it to the couch or table when Im ready to sit down and update my journal, or sketch or just color. Mine currently holds: 1 fine black Sharpie, 4 Hi-Tec-C Coleto Me multi-pens, .05 mechanical pencil, .07 mechanical pencil, 1 Pentel Clik eraser, 2 Pilot Petit1 fine nib fountain pens, 2 Pentel 8 Multi-pencils, 3 Mitsubishi 2mm lead holders, a ceramic pen cutter, mini Stabilo Boss highlighter, an eraser, post-it tabs, lead pointer for all my 2mm leads, .05 and .07 lead refills, 6 inch ruler, and symbol/numbers/letters templates. I havent even put anything in the two pockets on the outside yet. The price is more than I would normally pay for a pen case, but this one is worth it. Sturdy fabric, great construction and as you can see it holds A LOT. Amazon does have the best price for this too. I bought this to go with my green Lihit A5 bag-in-bag. I absolutely LOVE both. Really wish I would have found them BEFORE my vacation. If I wasnt using this for all my pens and pencils, I would probably use it for either sewing/crafting or electronic device paraphernalia.

This case is great! I needed this because trying to use all my various pens & tools around my cats was tricky. Sometimes I want to work in my sketchbook on the sofa etc. We have three cats & 2 of them are new to our family. They are just under 2 & very curious & playful. This case keeps my pens & supplies very handy. Not only are they not as tempting to the cats but I can easily transport my kit anywhere in the house or outside. The added bonus is that I can keep my pens in order making it easier for me to find just the pen I need, instead of loose in a big box or bin. Plus it holds more than just pens & pencils. I can carry extra leads, erasers, everything I need. I actually like that they did not use stretchy elastic bands to hold the pens. I like having a big open slot that I can fit any thickness pen through. I dont have to worry that the bands will stretch out over time and get loose as I pull pens in and out. There is extra room after you fill up the slots and pockets. I can see a small sketchpad or notebook fitting inside. Will be great for traveling! I purchased the orange color so I can see it easily across the room or in a pile of stuff. Plus, I like the color orange and this pouch is a nice shade of pumpkin orange, not too bright yet vibrant. Im now thinking of buying other colors to make specialized kits of supplies for different purposes, each designated by the color of the pouch. The material seems sturdy, similar to soft luggage material. Sewing looks nice and clean as well. I do have some suggestions for the manufacturers: 1. I would love the zipper pulls to have a snap to keep the pull locked in place. My new cats LOVE to bite and destroy zipper pulls including metal ones! So having these two dangling zipper pulls is super tempting. The case does not need two pulls to function so one pull with a snap to keep it open & a snap to close would be awesome. Plus, there would not be any jingling noise to contend with. 2. A bit of padding in the lining of the front & back of the case would protect the contents more from drops & crushes. 3. I want to get this in various sizes all the way up to super large!! One that will also fit a big sketchbook and all my supplies for traveling. These really are fantastic for organizing all your stuff. I am very happy with my purchase and with Prime it arrived very quickly.

Bought this for a friend. It can hold a lot of stuff. My only complaint is some stuff can move around in the straps easily.

Was hoping to use this as a case for my drawing pencils- alas, its not long enough. This is much better suited for pens.

This is a very well built pencil case with a lot of great options. Im giving it 4 stars for 2 reasons: while you have a lot of great options, in a way it still limits you (that may seem like an odd statement unless youre actually holding one in front of you). You cant use highlighters or markers of any kind that are fatter than the average pen. If you put non-mechanical pencils in the front sections, theres no pocket or stop of any kind so they can easily slide through. And can we talk about the instructions in Japanese?! So, that part is a complete loss for me. If there were ideas posted of the different ways that they sections could be used, that would be awesome and very helpful. Can some owners post short videos on how they used it? That would be great! Right now, Im doing a bit of trial and error (mostly error). I think that no matter what size you get, this is worthy every penny and can last a long time. I wish I saw this years ago because Ive wasted so much money trying to find a case like this to meet all my needs. Im sure it will take me through Grad School and beyond.
