Greater than one weekI really wanted to like this case because it has a nice design and gleaming reviews. Unfortunately, mine has a couple of flaws that I just can’t ignore. 1) The chemical smell. When I opened the plastic packaging, the pen case had the strongest chemical smell I’ve ever encountered in a new product. I tried airing it out for a while to give it a chance, but the smell just wouldn’t go away. I even tried leaving fabric softener sheets and baking soda packets inside. Months passed, and it still smells. It’s definitely less strong now, but it still bothers me. I tried putting my pens in there recently, and I could tell that the smell transfers easily onto certain materials. I’m not leaving my stuff in there. 2) Incorrectly positioned center flap. The center flap isn’t sewn into the same place as shown in the official photos. In the product photos, it’s on the left side of the internal spine, but in every customer photo, it’s on the right side. Why does this matter? Well, because the spine’s about 1.5 inches wide, the case offers a lot of space. But, all that thickness should be on the side containing the pockets, supposedly intended for larger items. In the real product, all the space is on the side intended for pens, and pens just aren’t that thick. This means that a) there’s a lot of wasted space, or b) the center flap has to bend awkwardly to let items fill the case’s depth. I don’t think this is just a fluke or counterfeit problem, because even JetPens’ photos shows the flap sewn into the right-hand side. Other thoughts and notes: * The material doesn’t seem great, in my opinion. It feels like they put cardstock inside the textile, making the walls and center flap feel cheap and “crinkly.” I prefer the “softness” of a couple of other nylon cases I have. * The tag says the item’s made in Myanmar. I like Lihit Lab’s designs, so I’m still going to try out their other cases. Hopefully this one just suffered poor manufacturing control.

> 3 dayThis case fits a ton of stuff in it. You could fit way more pens on the left panel if you stacked them. This case is super inexpensive for its quality and durability. Contrary to most reviews, I got lucky I got one without a chemical odor. It just smells normal to me? The cheapest option of this is honestly the best way to go for students [who arent artists], in my opinion. Buying more flaps would help more for objects like [washi tape], white-out, staplers, erasers, etc. but not pencils. Pros: - Fits a lot - Durable/strong - Many different compartments (Two pocket compartments in the front. Awesome for sticky notes, photo cards or I.Ds) - Great range of colors to choose from - Fit my bubble tea pin through the fabric! - My seller included a cute little origami of a shirt Cons: - The mesh is panelling is kind of odd and flimsy. Its separated well though. - If you shake it/drop it/move it too hard, the secured pens may kind of flop around a bit. They never fully fall out of place, though.

Greater than one weekI purchased this to take to my D&D games, to hold pencils and dice and such, and its quite nice for that purpose. It carries multiple pencils, index cards, post it notes, and a small bag or tin of dice very well. The overall quality of the case seems good. The only thing that somewhat surprised me was the outside material is more plastic-feeling that leather-feeling. I thought it would be more of a soft, pseudo-leather material rather than a hard shiny plasticy material. Its still a nice case, though, and it does what I need it to do, so Im happy with the purchase. I ordered the brown case, BTW.

> 3 dayI bought this to carry my type I diabetes supplies (insulin pens, blood test meter and strips etc. I also vary a couple glucose tablet tubes in here, along with some other accessories. It is a compact, well divided space for all of my essentials with nice zippered compartments. I needed something this size to fit in my crossbody shoulder bag/ briefcase for work. After my journal and planner get stuffed n, there isn’t a lot of room for anything bulky. This case fits perfectly.

> 3 dayIf I could give this product 100 stars, I would. I saw it recommended in a bullet journalling group I am a member of, and I love stationery and school supply organization, so I decided to give it a shot. I am SO glad that I did. There are plenty of pockets to hold lots of pens and highlighters. I even keep washi tape and stickers in it. I think I currently have about 30 different pens/highlighters in the bands and pocket. Everyone who sees it falls in love with it - I cant tell you how many friends have purchased one because theyve seen mine. I ordered one for my mom for Christmas, and my daughter is asking for one now. Im about to buy myself a second one to keep at work (Im a teacher). I think Ill go with black this time because the green does show dirt and I carry this around enough that it got dirty pretty quickly. Anyway, if you love pens and you love organization, you will LOVE this case!

> 3 dayA great case. Ive fit -10 pens/pencils plus a slim x-acto on the front inside -8 pens on the front of the flap -eraser, spare lead, spare ink, and spare pencil parts on the back of the flap -11 markers/pens and a brush pen plus a small ruler in the back inside The concern you should have is not will it hold all my basic necessities but rather do I have enough basic necessities to keep things from sliding around/out. Its smooth on the inside and none of the straps/nets have a lot of grip, so your tools have to hold each other in place. Thats not a downside, per se, but just something to keep in mind. If you only have 5-6 pens and you buy this, you might then be tempted to buy 20 new pens just to fill it. Also if you feel like youre prone to knocking things over, and you leave this lying open, some things might slip out and potentially get lost/broken. But its durable, stays clean, hasnt jammed so far, and is itself very light, which is good because it gets weighed down quite a bit once its full. The jet black color option LOOKS great, too.

> 3 daySome reviewers mentioned a horrible odor, but my case doesnt have any scent. The hanging tag is a cute diagram showing how supplies can be arranged inside of pencil case. This case has a really lustrous color on both the outside and inside. The zippers are nice and move smoothly. Once everything is full, it shuts perfectly without bulging. It organizes all my supplies neatly and I know where everything is. No mysteries and no digging around, like you might do with a pouch. Messy pencil pouches are a waste of time and energy that way. I highly recommend this case by Lihit Lab if you want something more organized. I like that its spacious, but not to the extent that youre going to carry hundreds of things. This is good for people who would find using too many different materials while studying to be a distraction. As of this first impression, I have no complaints. This is probably my favorite pencil case Ive ever had, its well designed. If anything of note comes up after using it, Ill edit this review.
