The straps inside would be better if they were elastic.

My son requested a pencil case for the new school year. He knew what type he wanted so I sent him Amazon links to three different zippered book type pencil cases. He chose the Lihit because it had the type of organization and pockets he was looking for. Two months of use behind him and he says it serves its purpose well and doesnt take up too much backpack space.

After reading several reviews on this product, I decided to purchase it. Many of the negative reviews were due to one reason- odor. I hoped that mine wouldnt smell horrible as they described it, but it seems my luck ran out. the second I opened the packaging, I was hit with an awful smell- one that I can only describe as a car that has had cigarettes smoked inside it several times. I immediately isolated the bag from my other products (which still smell a little funny), and stuck it inside a closet that I never use. I let it air out overnight, and it doesnt smell as horrible now, but its still there. I suspect that given a few more days, it wont smell bad at all. The closet now reeks a little as well, though, so Im thinking of letting it sit outside for a while. I hope the smell clears away soon so Ill be able to use it without garnering negative attention from my peers for making the room smell like nicotine. That, and I dont want to have to throw it away like some of the other customers did- I spent eleven dollars on this. At the moment, the odor is a bit weaker. Its very strong if youre close to it. Not so much if youre a few feet away- its just a light odor thatd make you turn your head, wondering what it is and where its coming from. It is, however, a nice pencil case. The middle feels a bit flimsy, as if the mesh could rip out given that you shove enough inside of it, but thats what the bigger mesh is for. I couldnt cram my eraser in there (sadly), so it had to hang out with my brush pen. The middle section also doesnt zip into the bag very cleanly- one of the corners stick out (depicted in the last picture). The products front- where the two pockets are- is also slightly frayed near the bottom (I can see two tufts of white thread sticking out). The case feels a bit cardboard-ish, so Im hesitant to stick it into my backpack along with my textbooks for fear of it getting crushed and misshapen. The zipper feels very sturdy, though. I can see myself bringing this along when I go study in the library, but Im (like I said before) not too sure about bringing it to school. Ive read many fabulous reviews on this product, praising its quality and the ilk, but it seems I got the shorter end of the stick. Id say its a twenty-eighty chance that you get a bad one like mine, since everyone else seems to either be able to deal with it or not have any problems with the smell unlike me. Herere a few pictures. I bought the brown model. Its not as dark as I wouldve hoped. I was aiming for a rich mocha color, but it looks a bit like diluted coffee. Its still pleasing to the eye, though.

Wow! I cant believe how spacious my new Lihit Lab Teffa Pen Case is! I am quite impressed with the construction of this case and spent a good deal of research on it prior to my purchase. I was able to fit: □ 5 SAI watercolor brush pens □ 4 Pilot Juice pens □ 11 LePen pens □ Pentel Hybrid Gel Silver Metallic pen □ Uniball Signo white pen □ Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pel □ Pilot Opt mechanical pencil □ 11 Zebra Mildliner highlighter pens And loose in the gusset/center areas, I was able to fit: □ 6 Pigma Micron pens □ 5 Zig pens □ 1 Copic Sketch Marker Thats a whopping 47 pens/markers! As you can see from the bottom right photo this does put the case at capacity but I was able to zip it up snugly. Overall, its a great medium sized book-style case and can easily fit into your bag of choice for travel. The price is under $15, which makes it quite appealing to students and budget-savy artists (like me). Highly recommended! 8-bit Super Mario Bros ‪planner stickers‬ are by @foxandcactus on Instagram

This is a pretty sizable pen case which will hold around 7 regularly sized writing utensils on each side. If you do have pens which have very small or tight pen clips, you may find it difficult to insert/remove the pens because there arent any elastic loops, rather just two rows to attach pen clips to. Also, a pen may not fit if the top of the pen is far above the clip. For example, the Pentel GraphGear 1000 fits, but not well on either side of the case. The pockets on the back of the middle flap are honestly too small and arent elastic enough to fit things more useful than a few tubes of extra leads or cap erasers. The large pocket on the back is decent, but theres nothing except empty space above it which leaves that space a little useless because theres nothing to secure items in place. Overall, the product is good looking and has decent build quality, but has a few usability flaws which leave some to be desired.

I purchased this to take to my D&D games, to hold pencils and dice and such, and its quite nice for that purpose. It carries multiple pencils, index cards, post it notes, and a small bag or tin of dice very well. The overall quality of the case seems good. The only thing that somewhat surprised me was the outside material is more plastic-feeling that leather-feeling. I thought it would be more of a soft, pseudo-leather material rather than a hard shiny plasticy material. Its still a nice case, though, and it does what I need it to do, so Im happy with the purchase. I ordered the brown case, BTW.

I LOVE this pen case. It holds so much. I am ready for any situation that needs a writing implement - as long as I have my case. haha. I carry it with me 95% of the time though in my backpack or a tote bag and bring it to the couch or table when Im ready to sit down and update my journal, or sketch or just color. Mine currently holds: 1 fine black Sharpie, 4 Hi-Tec-C Coleto Me multi-pens, .05 mechanical pencil, .07 mechanical pencil, 1 Pentel Clik eraser, 2 Pilot Petit1 fine nib fountain pens, 2 Pentel 8 Multi-pencils, 3 Mitsubishi 2mm lead holders, a ceramic pen cutter, mini Stabilo Boss highlighter, an eraser, post-it tabs, lead pointer for all my 2mm leads, .05 and .07 lead refills, 6 inch ruler, and symbol/numbers/letters templates. I havent even put anything in the two pockets on the outside yet. The price is more than I would normally pay for a pen case, but this one is worth it. Sturdy fabric, great construction and as you can see it holds A LOT. Amazon does have the best price for this too. I bought this to go with my green Lihit A5 bag-in-bag. I absolutely LOVE both. Really wish I would have found them BEFORE my vacation. If I wasnt using this for all my pens and pencils, I would probably use it for either sewing/crafting or electronic device paraphernalia.

I got this one case a couple years back. Ive been using it ever since and it hasnt broken, ripped, or lost the zipper. It keeps all my pens organized and hold my small sticky notes and flash drives as needed. The front pockets arent as tight as they were once before and things do fall out of then often, but overall its a great choice and should last you for a long time as its survived 6 or so semesters of me tossing it around.

Its mostly a sure thing. I am a pen/pencil person, so I have pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, dedicated erasers, and such. After a little thinning of the less-used tools, most of it fits in this case. The front of the inside page is suitable for skinny pens and only skinny things. The back of the inside page has enough space for three Pentel Ain Stein lead cases (which are flat, low-profile cases) and a uniboxy eraser. Adding more stuff makes it tough to access the tools on the front of the inside page. The front and back outside page can store chunkier pens and highlighters. On first use, the seam ripped at the bottom of the inside page. Its not a big hole and its not worth the return postage to fix it, so Im using it anyway. Overall, I like it. Minus one star for space constraints.
