This pencil case is great if you are traveling a lot while writing a lot. One side of the pencil case can hold up to 7-8 pencils (I use Muji mechanical pencils) and as many pens on the middle divider. The netting of the pencil case is great and sturdy with confidence that it will not rip or tear. I use this for everyday note taking during my classes in university and holds up very well.

I have a thing for cases. Especially black nylon cases. A classmate of mine waltzed into class, whipped out this pen case, and selected a freshly sharpened No 2 pencil for the test we were about to take. My No 2 pencil (plus the spare I brought) were flopping loosely in my shirt pocket, risking falling out and breaking the lead, or jabbing me in the chin should happen I look down. Thats when I decided I needed a case for my pens and pencils. He sent me the link for case and I bought one. It is very convenient, has two pockets on the outside and a partition inside that provides four surfaces for pencils, pens, business cards, smartphone an many other things. It is finely made with quality products. A case for everything, indeed.

I thought the fabric would be more of a canvas material but its definitely more like a waterproof swishy fabric. The bag is pretty spacious but I have trouble deciding what to put in the 3 small mesh pockets in the back of the middle flap as the calculator in my pictures doesnt allow much room. Mine did have 1 loose string sticking out which was kind of annoying but I cut it and hopefully it doesnt start to unravel the bag or something. As I dont carry that many school supplies, I used the very back of the bag to hold my portable charger and cosmetics. The oil blotting compact doesnt easily fall out of the bag as there is a sort of lip that extends higher than the bags back that holds everything in place.

Purchased this for my younger sister to organize her school supplies and she absolutely loves it. Precursor: my sister is a little bit unorganized with her school supplies, aka she just stuffs it into one compartment of her backpack and digs in whenever she needs to find something. She asked me to get her one and I came upon this. The material is extra thick and super sturdy and can hold its shape even if there arent many items in it. What surprised me the most was the bags ability to store SO many items. No joke my sister has everything she needs in there and so much more. It is like the Marry Poppins pencil bag of pencil bags. Need a pair of scissors? No problem. Pens? Which one, Ive got 10. Glue Stick? Sure. This bag fits it all. Amazing. Where was this when I was in middle school? Now if they can just make a longer version so I can fit my Tombow Markers.

I can not tell you how many times I get compliments on this pencil case! As a college and soon to be medical student, I spend most of my day at school or in the library studying so having a case that could fit everything I needed was a must! I was so tired of unorganized pouches and cute cases that just never had enough space, so this year I decided that I was going to invest in a case that will carry me through my academia. This case easily holds all my pencils and colored pens and highlighters as well as post-its, page markers, lead and erasers, my USB, a permanent marker, white out, tape, scissors, and index cards! Its full of compartments and is so incredibly useful that all my friends have converted to this pencil case. I usually just put it on my desk open during lecture so if I need something, itll all be there. Every time someone sees my case on my desk they immediately ask where I got it! If you need a pencil case that really holds up to the job, this is the one for you!

I LOVE this pen case. It holds so much. I am ready for any situation that needs a writing implement - as long as I have my case. haha. I carry it with me 95% of the time though in my backpack or a tote bag and bring it to the couch or table when Im ready to sit down and update my journal, or sketch or just color. Mine currently holds: 1 fine black Sharpie, 4 Hi-Tec-C Coleto Me multi-pens, .05 mechanical pencil, .07 mechanical pencil, 1 Pentel Clik eraser, 2 Pilot Petit1 fine nib fountain pens, 2 Pentel 8 Multi-pencils, 3 Mitsubishi 2mm lead holders, a ceramic pen cutter, mini Stabilo Boss highlighter, an eraser, post-it tabs, lead pointer for all my 2mm leads, .05 and .07 lead refills, 6 inch ruler, and symbol/numbers/letters templates. I havent even put anything in the two pockets on the outside yet. The price is more than I would normally pay for a pen case, but this one is worth it. Sturdy fabric, great construction and as you can see it holds A LOT. Amazon does have the best price for this too. I bought this to go with my green Lihit A5 bag-in-bag. I absolutely LOVE both. Really wish I would have found them BEFORE my vacation. If I wasnt using this for all my pens and pencils, I would probably use it for either sewing/crafting or electronic device paraphernalia.

2020 edit: the black version I originally reviewed in 2017 is still in use, looks great, zippers are fantastic. The blue one I bought in April of 2019 however just broke: one of the zipper heads fell off. While I can still use it, it seems like theres a quality difference between the versions with the black logo and the ones with the red logo. YMMV. Pros: * Lots of storage for a variety of sized objects * Flattish design (as opposed to the tube design of many pen/cil cases) * Dirt resistant material is easy to clean * Can use for a variety of different supplies: medical, tools, art, food, utensils, toiletries * Zips open to lay flat Cons: * Materials that pockets and flap are made of limit what can be stored * Interior color is drab * Zipper pulls are thin and can be hard to grip This is a nice case, but not as nice as I was hoping it would be. I purchased the black version which has a brown interior. The brown is more drab and darker than it seemed online (think dirt instead of leather), and I do wish it was a bit brighter, but its not bad. The material is somewhere between canvas and vinyl, and looks very nice. It seems to be dirt resistant (rolled it around outside and on my dog) and wipes off easily. The flattish design helps this fit in messenger bags and briefcases or other flat carry bags more easily than its rounder cousins. The flatness and the zipper that goes around 3 of the 4 sides makes the case lay flat when completely unzipped, which is especially useful. The zipper pulls are thin and smooth, and arent easily gripped by large, wet, or arthritic fingers. Id much prefer traditional round zipper pulls for virtually any storage, but especially if using this as art or medical storage. Lots of pockets and storage options, however the pocket lips arent stretchy and the mesh is only a little stretchy. It makes it difficult to store things that are awkwardly sized in the pockets. In addition, the center flap that serves as a separator also serves as storage. This becomes a problem because of the lack of stretch; filling both sides of this flap causes obvious bending of the stiffening material the flap is made of (see photos). These pockets seem to be designed to hold mostly thin, flat things like stickers, paper clips, lead, school erasers, etc. In my test, I put a Staedtler eraser, kneadable eraser, roll of washi tape, and a cheapo school eraser in these pockets, with a set of Copic markers on the other side. There was noticeable bending of the center flap making me wary of putting anything else in these pockets, or anything differently shaped/sized. This limits the effectiveness of this product for many artistic (or other) uses. If the pocket lips were stretchier and the flap was stiffer, this would be a non-issue. The center flap pocket is also not a rectangle, but more of a rounded rectangle. This makes the left and right sides of the flap have a shorter vertical storage space than the middle of the flap, so it will definitely limit what might be able to be carried there. I could fit only 5 Copic markers; a 6th would have stuck out and prevented the case from closing. See my photo; I have only 5 there, but you can see near the bottom of the photo [left side of the pouch when vertical] how the curvature of the pocket would prevent more being stored. The outer pockets are best for small, flat things that you wont mind that they might get lost. When fully packed, I couldnt put anything substantial in these pockets, and because they dont have any stretch Id be wary of putting anything not flat in them anyway for fear of breaking the seams or stretching the pockets out of shape. However, if I were using this as a desk storage pouch (as opposed to a travel one) these would be great pockets to store erasers or small rulers or post-it notes. For the price, overall its a nice little storage case. I hope this review helps someone else!

As a senior in college I wish I found this sooner! I use the front pockets to hold my colored pens, the 3 pocket side to hold my pencil sharpener, flash drive, and white-out, and the back pocket holds my highlighters, pencils (slightly sharpened to fit), sharpie, and dry erase marker! This thing is amazing! When taking notes in class, I love switching colors for specific points or when drawing in anatomy and with this I can easily switch colors without having to dig through a pencil bag to find a specific one. Love this!

Some reviewers mentioned a horrible odor, but my case doesnt have any scent. The hanging tag is a cute diagram showing how supplies can be arranged inside of pencil case. This case has a really lustrous color on both the outside and inside. The zippers are nice and move smoothly. Once everything is full, it shuts perfectly without bulging. It organizes all my supplies neatly and I know where everything is. No mysteries and no digging around, like you might do with a pouch. Messy pencil pouches are a waste of time and energy that way. I highly recommend this case by Lihit Lab if you want something more organized. I like that its spacious, but not to the extent that youre going to carry hundreds of things. This is good for people who would find using too many different materials while studying to be a distraction. As of this first impression, I have no complaints. This is probably my favorite pencil case Ive ever had, its well designed. If anything of note comes up after using it, Ill edit this review.

I am a pen junkie, so when I saw this I had to have it. It does everything it was described it would do. My only regret is that I should have ordered a triple in stead of the double.

This high quality pen case opens like book, unzipping on 3 of 4 sides with a sturdy Black zipper. Inside the case you will find FOUR surfaces with a variety of straps and pouches to store your writing utensils and office stationery. Perfect for pens, pencils, markers, erasers, scissors, protractors, and much more. This pen case will keep your office stationary secure and organized.
