> 3 dayI installed three of them in less than an hour in total.:Put in battery, remove old locks (4 screws) and put in new ones. Setting it up is easy too and takes a few seconds. Im only concerned about battery life or failure but this has to be evaluated later. In our case, with three doors, it is unlikely that all locks would become unusable at the same time so that Im not that worried and. Having not to carry around keys is nice. The lock has a mode where only one button needs to be pushed to open it. I think it would be nice if there was an additional mode, where the lock is disabled and so that the door is always open and no battery life is used. Also nice would be an option a user could chose so that if the battery would fail, the door would be open. Currently, the door will remain locked without power in the batteries. (an emergency plug is present which would allow to power the lock temporarily using an external battery pack and enable the lock).

15-04-2025Love having an automatic gate that works! We went ahead and hired a specailist to install this little number. Very much worth it! I am thankful everytime the gate opens and shuts.

> 3 dayWe have 12 of these units around our property and they work great, both for man gate and vehicles gates. The problem comes in when we need to replace one, as we have over 100 codes. If you use the standard 4 digit code, as we do, that is 27 key strokes for each code... Do yourself a favor and use or buy a 12 V power supply, strip the leads to bare wire, and hook up the AK-11 on your desktop for comfortable (no bend-over) programming. Once done, disconnect and install the unit in place. You still need to punch in all those codes, but at least you can do it in comfort in your office or at the workbench. Enjoy!

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful durable product, but can be a little intimating to program. And worst of all if you have any problems Linear who recently got bought out will no longer help you over the phone with tech support like they used to. They will ask you for your zip code and refer you to a dealer in your area who may or may not help you over the phone. The one I called in my area wanted $95 per hour with a one hour minimum and $35 trip charge.
