Liquitex Professional Fluid Medium, 946ml (32-oz), Gloss

I used Liquitex gloss medium varnish over acrylic paint on canvas with horrible cracking and yellowing results. After about an hour the entire surface has micro cracks, the varnish cracked everywhere. I tried waiting until completely dry and applied a second coat with same results. Do not recommend this product if you are covering an acrylic painting. It totally destroyed my painting.

great product, I was buying it locally but lately whenever I went into town to buy it they have been out of stock, when I suggested that they should order more the salesgirl got really snippy and said I should pre-order it so they would have it for me, so I decided if I had to pre-order it I might as well buy it on-line and save the trip to town, and found that I am saving about $5 a bottle and I dont have to use my gas to pick it up, guess they just lost a regular customer. If you are an artist, this is a great product for o-so many things.

Really good product but its expensive bought another 2 bottles.

Helps keep paint from drying out when mixing with my acrylics . That said, I’m a beginner.

Delivered a day early and its very good. I mixed it with paint. It was not a good idea because it had bubbles and folds when dried

Love the consistency and evenness that it has going on. Paint flows much more smoothly, and glazes look good.

My daughter is a beginner at acrylic painting. I bought this product to mix with and extend her acrylic paints (the thicker condensed tube kind). She used it right in front of me. It worked beautifully! The colors were not altered and the small amt of paint she used went very far with this liquitex extender. Very much recommended!
