Ill start with packaging, the wheel and pedals are very nicely packaged to prevent scuff and scratches, on first opening the box I was very impressed with how well it is packaged. Now on to the wheel and pedals. I was previously using an entry level wheel by hori which is a good wheel for the first time sim racer and my expectations were far exceeded by the G29. First the wheel itself, The G29 is flawless in fit and finish, all of the buttons are very well thought out and placed in the perfect location for me, the leather wrapped wheel is extemely comfortable and the force feedback feels like a real vehicle, I race mostly in VR and the buttons are easily accessible without looking, the paddle shifters are velvety smooth and made of high quality stainless steel, the wheel has very smooth ball bearings and even the chassis of the wheel is made of metal.

I have over 1000 hours in with this wheel. Every moment was worth it. The belt system inside is not even worned out and still strong. Every use it still calibrates and works brand new every time. If you want to train to be a race car driver this is the tool youll need especially in this technology age. Logitech also makes real life formula 1 wheels. Definitely and highly recommend it. If you have no passion in driving. Dont get it

This wheel is good apart from the fact that half of the have a defect that makes the will emit a loud squeaking noise. I got mine replaced and the replacement does the same thing.

Overall, this isnt a bad force feedback wheel. Loaded with buttons, it has paddle shifters, rev lights. But it has two major flaws that I feel like should not be the case once you spend over $100. First is the dead zone. Mine has probably 15 degrees of rotation either direction of center that has absolutely no resistance. I used to drive trucks from the 70s that had less play in their steering than this thing. Its even noticeable when the wheel initiates and does its self test. The wheel rotates both directions from lock to lock then when it returns to center, it never actually stops at 0 degrees. Second issue is the pseudo leather wrapping. It kind of looks and feels cheap. I would have rather had a rubber coating that felt solid than this imitation luxury that feels loose and squishy. This isnt the worst thing in the world, but it just makes the wheel feel cheap. Unfortunately, theres not a lot of high-end competition at this price range so a lot of responses will probably be well, what did you expect for that price? Anyway, overall its a decent start to a racing setup, much better than using a PS4 or XBOX controller.
